Here's some positives first, then my story below. The unit is EXTREMELY QUIET in eco mode, it definitely competes with Honda's EU2200i in terms of noise level. Power output is consistent and it pickups large loads quickly and easily! The unit is fairly light compared to other brands for this power rating, and its compact enough that it easily fits into the trunk of my car standing up. The unit surprisingly appears to be very high quality, there's no machining errors, or loose parts. Everything appears to be a perfect fit. Ordered the unit 3 days ago, just got it today. I ordered a new unit, but unfortunately appear to have gotten a used unit as it had used oil in it and there had definitely already been some gasoline in the tank before. I requested a replacement which was accepted pretty easily. On to the good news! I replaced the oil and added some gasoline to the tank. Starting it up is a bit weird which I think might be why it got returned. When I pulled it the first time the engine did attempt to start. I pulled a few more times where nothing happened at all, the engine just spun. I then waited a few seconds and tried again and it tried to start again, pulled again after noticing it wasnt going to start, and had nothing happen again. Waited a few seconds again, pulled a 3rd time and it fired right up! It smoked for about 5-10 seconds and then ran normally. I tested both outlets, and both USB ports and they all worked flawlessly. I dont have anything currently that I could test the 12V connections with. I'm a bit disappointed that the unit was used, but I intend to get in contact with the seller to get more information on maintenance as the book is basically blank for the maintenance table aand also to see if I can get a partial refund and/or extended warranty period and I may consider keeping this one in addition to the replacement unit. I do really like this unit and its going to be used for my mobile detailing business so I'll come back here with updates as it needs maintenance and how long everything lasts before needing replacement. UPDATE I contacted the seller. They stated that oil and gasoline are added to some units to ensure quality control. They gave me a 3 year warranty for free just for peace of mind.

Overall a good unit. It’s nicely built, quiet and handled a load test just fine. (TLDR runs good and is built nice, but check for broken spark plug if you’re having issues starting or running properly) However, like many other reviews I had problems getting it started and once it did start it ran rough and stalled multiple times before even getting a load on it. After checking to make sure the oil was good and didn’t leak out for some reason and checking the air filter, I moved to the spark plug. I pulled the boot off the plug and found that the porcelain was shattered around half of the plug. Furthermore, when I removed the plug I noticed it was running a torch f7 series plug. Per the manual it calls for a series 5 plug. I ran to the local tractor supply, picked up an ngk plug and threw it in. It started up and stayed running on the first pull. I then load tested it and ran the break in cycle on it. I’ve attached some photos of the plug. If you are experiencing starting issues, I highly suggest checking the spark plug. Overall I’m pleased especially with the price and since I don’t plan on using it very often it will do. I’ve attached a photo of the broken plug.

Okay, I gotta say, I'm really happy with this 1.8kW slience inverter generator I got! I was worried about noise because my old one sounded like a lawnmower convention, but this one? Seriously impressed. Perfect for the Essentials: Needed it mostly for power outages and some backyard stuff. It runs a couple of lights, phone chargers, and even my coffee maker in the morning without breaking a sweat. The 1.8kW is spot on for what I need. Starts up easy too. Electronics Happy: Plugged in my laptop and TV during an outage - no weird flickering or issues. That "clean power" inverter thing seems to work as advertised. Peace of mind for the expensive stuff! Easy Peasy: It's not too heavy, has handles. Setup was straightforward - gas and go. Overall? This little generator is awesome. It does exactly what I wanted: reliable power when I need it, without driving me (or the neighbors) crazy with noise. If you need backup power or something quiet for camping and don't need to run your whole house at once, this is a great pick. Totally recommend! 5 Stars!

I ordered this product for the ice storm this past weekend in Texas in case or power lose. I ended up losing power and needed this to run a space heater. The product would not start after trying for an hour and a half. I had oil and gas in the machine and dial set to choke as manuel states. I ended up needing to go to a hotel for warmth. The customer service representative for the seller was not helpful and sent me a rude response. Amazon ended up helping me with a refund after the seller was making it difficult. I would give a zero star if I could. I would stay away from this company and buy a more reputable product.

First unit had an issue. It skipped a bit while running and I think the VR crapped out about 4 hours in. However, I was refunded and gave it another chance because it looked well-built and a marginal one could have slipped through. It can happen even with the well-known brands. I'm glad I did, because the second unit has been absolutely perfect. Relatively lightweight, easy starting, super quiet and long running ( especially in ECO mode) and it purrs like a kitten. I did replace the plug with a Champion brand NR plug before putting it into service, but that part is optional. My only suggestion would be that owners not leave it in ECO mode if expecting to drive a large load, as doing so will drop the voltage enough to dim lights for a second while the unit compensates. It's best reserved for lights, chargers and things with a moderate and constant draw. In other words, if you need to run power tools, which can require a lot of current at start-up, run it in normal mode and switch it back when done. I'm very happy and would easily recommend this generator. It really does punch above it's weight-class.

Excellent generator and I also caught it on sale! Well worth the money even at its full asking price. Filled it with motor oil and fuel and it started in 2 pulls. This thing is amazingly quiet, even more quiet than another 2000 watt inverter generator I already have. This thing is amazing in eco mode, it powers my large 120v battery charger in 300amp start selection with ease. This will stay in a side by side with the jump starter for firing heavy equipment in the winter.
