Well I cleaned my entire rims really good with soapy water, rinsed with hot water, then wiped down with alcohol wipes. After drying I applied the 3m primer on the first wheel and applied the rim protector kit no trouble at all. I proceeded do the other rims the same exact way. I waited the 24 hours before driving or anything let is sit in my garage untouched. Drove it today, held up fine on the way to work. On my way home I lost the back 2 I am not even sure where which sucks cause now I cant even return these cause half the product is gone on the road. What really sucks too is the adhesion and 3m tape stayed on the rims what actually came off is the actual protector came off the 3m tap which is out of my hands because they apply the tape themselves on the protector. Makes me think they didnt apply the 3m primer on the side that actually sticks to the rim protector. Anyways it does look nice but unfortunately even doing all the correct prep etc. I lost them on the 2nd day so I think if you are looking for this red look on the rims like I was, best to go with the paint or red vinyl tape like i had originally planned and will be doing now. Also I had to personally buy more 3m primer, they give you 2 sticks but it's not nearly enough to do 4 19" rims. Also if you have any left it'll mostly dry out by the time you are done setting the first rim and going to apply it to the 2nd rim. Cause you really dont wanna rush applying this. ... show more

I bought the blue version and I love it! The color is bright and makes my rims look amazing. Installation was quick and easy, and it fits perfectly on my 18-inch wheels with extra left over, so it would work on bigger sizes too. Both alcohol packets were dried up and one of the glue tubes. Despite my better judgement I applied them.After application there were parts that didn't stick as well as others. Plastic looks cheap. Looks great and fairly easy to install. Just need patience and apply it slowly when peeling the adhesive tape. The primer you apply allows for correcting the position if a mistake is made, simply push it into the correct position using your thumb or a flathead screw driver till it is positioned correctly. ... show more

This falls off when I drive! When I tried to remove it since most of them have fallen off, the sticky part of the rim protector stays on the wheels. My wheels look a mess now! Do not recommend.
