Belt frame adjusts in any position from horizontal to vertical to meet your sanding needs. Both the Disc and Belts’ support fences tilt 0-45 degrees for angled work. The machine features precision die-cast metal base, quick release belt lever, and large 8″ diameter sanding disc, and includes 2 tilting tables for sanding fine, detail and angled work. I purchased and imported this product from US Amazon becase RIKON resaler won't handle this in Japan. Even Amazon Japan doesn't sell this. I decided to spend the extra money and purchase the Rikon belt sander. I have always used the cheaper belt driven sanders and after using the direct drive Rikon sander, it is well worth the extra money. My sanding tasks take less time while providing excellent results.     • Great product but....
Great product and love it. I use it all the time in my wood shop but I do get annoyed with how there is plastic in areas. I just despise plastic nowadays and that’s in everything but it’s holding up and better than some other ones I have tried. Plenty of power and no issues period.

I particularly like the fact that the sander is direct drive and has a steady and reliable speed. The miter tables are square out of the box. It is heavy enough that it sits firmly on my work bench and does not move around during use.
