For a 2013 Nissan frontier crew cab short bed, not too bad of a fit. I thought I would like to have a cool weather solution for camping when I don’t wanna take my big gas guzzling RV too far when I’m camping for just a few days . here is my assessment so far. Because I have a Nissan frontier crew cab short bed there weren’t very many options. Overall I think it fits pretty well but I can see a couple of potential issues if it isn’t treated right. Leave the straps loose until the tent poles are in place! It seems that the tent material is pretty tightly stretched down near the part that goes over the tailgate, no matter how I adjust the straps. You can see by the picture that the inner flap does not line up towards the back of the truck the way it supposed to. The other thing I noticed is that the tent pole that supports the front part of the tent seems to flare out from the truck bad. I guess that’s not really a problem per se. Anyway We’ll see how it works out. I May reinforce the seams down in the lower portion with my sewing machine. Will update after camping with it. ... show more

This tent was perfect for our camping trips and I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately it doesn't fit if your truck has a headache rack. It left an opening at the head and a few bugs did get in. The product is high quality though and would have fit perfect if it weren't for our trucks set up. Style: 110760 Mid Size Long Bed Truck Tent (6')
This is a great tent for the price -- Most of my ground tents are in the $400-600 range, and they do have thicker fabrics and better poles, but this tent is well very designed, and has reinforcements where the poles slot in and around the buckle attachments. Setup might take a little practice, but it fits just about perfect on my 2015 Tacoma Long Bed. The poles are a little tricky to put in the tent, since the connectors have a little lip on them that more expensive poles don't (my only issue). - When putting the poles in their pockets, they will likely seem too long -- try and slide the material over the poles and loosen up some of the buckles holding the tent to the truck until they are 2-3 inches too long, and don't have to force them in too much. It just takes a little care and patience, but this is the case with more expensive tents too. - After all the poles are set, loosen the straps and shift the tent around on the truck until its centered and retighten. Pay attention to the orange straps inside the bed and balance the fit and tightness with the opposing strap that goes on the outside. I can't say it will fit on all trucks as well as mine, but its pretty darn good. ... show more

I purchased this tent from the bed of my Toyota Tacoma. The first time I set this up it took me over 2 hours. I will admit that it is partly my fault because I should've set it up at home before going camping. The poles gave me a very difficult time because it seem as is if they were a bit to long and wouldn't go into the corner holders. It was a very difficult task because I didn't want to rip the tent. Finally after much time the tent was up and now I had to tie it down to the under body of my truck. Well thank goodness I took come extra bungies because there was no way that the straps were going to be work because they weren't long enough to reach. I had to make some adjustments to all the straps and find a different way to tie down the tent. Now, I will say this is a great idea to camp in. It gets me off the ground and allows me to use the bed of my truck. I like that I have a lot of height in the tent, the rain cover kept out the rain and dampness and the best part the tent came down quickly. I liked that I was able to leave my tent unassembled in the bed of the truck so that at my next stop it would be easier to set up and it was. It took me 25 mins to set up the tent at my 2nd location. The tent poles still gave me a difficult time and I was afraid I was going to break the poles or rip the compartment the holes go in. One of my biggest other complaints is that the netting on the tent is very very thin. What happens if you accidentally rip it? How do you repair it. A heavier netting should have been used. I haven't decided if I am sending this unit back for credit. I spent a $179 dollars on this unit and for the quality not sure if it was worth it. I have till Aug.8th to decide if I want to return it. ... show more

Very happy with this tent, though there are a few flaws. The tent itself fits very well, if not a little snug. Some of the seams feel like they may be stretched a bit too tight, but nothing has ripped as of yet. The tent has not leaked on me with the rain fly on, though I haven't had it in very heavy rain, just light spring and fall showers. The window mesh feels pretty solid, and I had no issue with tearing or fraying on the mesh, and the window covers are just a touch loose, but not bad. The only real downside to the design itself is that there are some small gaps between the side of the front part and the tailgate. There's a roughly 2 inch diagonal gap at the very inside of the tailgate next to the tail lights, which can let on bugs, other critters and cold air. One way I've combatted this is to lay blankets in the bed of the truck that are big enough to slightly go up the sides of the bed. It solves both problems, but I do feel there should be a flap with a magnet in it to just fold up to the truck and keep bugs out. Tl;DR - Great tent for the money, no issues with leaks in light rain, use a floor covering to avoid cold air or unwelcome visitors. ... show more

Fits the 2020 Toyota Tacoma Long Bed perfectly. Worked well. Being a highly intelligent person, I NEVER read instructions. The first-time installation went simply enough. Some issues. But the second time was even faster and fit even better! Still had some small issues. I finally read the instructions, and everything worked perfectly! I had not properly attached the orange straps.
