After reviewing from the ride safer website, they didn't have the size I needed in stock. Their website said if you order on Amazon to be careful of dupes and gave a list of parts that it should have. Also, it gave a lot more important information. I would highly recommend the ride safer website BEFORE ordering. Do your research! As for the product, we got a REAL, NEW one, therefore we got a quality product. There is a learning curve for fitting the vest to the child in a sitting position and then installing it into the car, but what child restraint doesn't? The vest is adjustable. My 3 yr old just fits size S at the smallest setting. She seems to think it comfortable and is excited to sit like a big girl. Falling asleep in the vest is an issue...see the manufacturer website. If you're looking for something easy to use, pick something different. If you're looking for something for travel (i.e. Uber, Taxi, car transfer) it's great.

Amazing for a travel seat. 4 year thought it was comfortable and she sat well for the straps to stay in place. The backpack is handy and fit her to use as her carry on.

It’s a perfect vest for traveling, super easy to put on and connect to the car. Unfortunately it’s was a bit big on my son and I’ll have to order a different size/wait until he is a bit bigger. I love the convenience of not having to carry car seats if I uber somewhere. Great value and the quality seems very good.

We thought we loved this but one of the bottom anchors that secure the seatbelt broke off within the third week of us using it! will be either asking for a replacement or money back because it’s too expensive for it to break off that fast.

I love everything about this product so much! The innovative idea, safe and compact design and the mesh backpack for carrying it. It solves a major headache for me of having to lug around a heavy and bulky car seat while traveling with a toddler. It is easy to use, especially after figuring out what goes where the first time, not bulky or cumbersome. I can put the harness on my LO at the airport while we’re waiting for the taxi or Uber so he’s ready to strap in as soon as it arrives. I love how customizable it is (can be worn with the left or right rear seatbelts with just the harness, or in the center seat with a lap belt with the additional safety tethers that clip to the top of the seat back). My child finds in comfortable and doesn’t mind wearing it at all (I tell him he’s like a pilot in his flight harness). When the seatbelt is secured properly it feels very stable and secure. I’ve used this with an inflatable booster seat as well to give a little more height, but the harness is designed to bring the seatbelt into the proper position in front of their body by running it through the clips in the front of their body harness, so depending on age and height you can also just use it alone.it meets all federal US safety regulations. Having said all this, I still prefer to use it for shorter or regular car trips, not very long (hours on the highway) ones if possible, but that’s just my personal comfort level. It stows easily into the mesh backpack and is lightweight enough that even your young child can carry this around the airport, making it great for travel. I think this product solves a huge travel problem, checks all the safety and convenience boxes and is thus, a terrific value for the money! I would absolutely recommend this product; probably one of my best finds all year!
