So we bought one of these portable covers to take with us to Hawaii. It was compact and it fit in my backpack. Part of what made this cover so great is that it has a pair of sandbags in each corner. It did a great job of holding its place, even in a good wind.We enjoyed it over several days. At one point, the poles started to bury themselves in the sand and the wind was strong enough that the poles lost their flexibility, and caused them to bend. I contacted Customer Support, and they didn’t hesitate in sending me out four new poles. I watched other people that had covers with only one sandbag in each corner. They had to keep repositioning them throughout the day. I never had to reposition mine with the double sandbags in each corner. I’m here to tell you, you won’t be disappointed with the ease of setting this up nor the compactness of it for travel, not to mention the great Customer Service! If I needed a second one, I would not hesitate to buy one from this company. ... show more

Ok this canopy is fantastic! First, i have a 3 month old baby, and took him to a beach last week for the first time. I wanted something easy to set up, that wouldn’t blow away in strong winds, but also offer ample shade to help keep him protected! This was PERFECT! I was able to, on my own, set this canopy up in 5 minutes. It’s so easy! One day the wind speed was 25 mph and this canopy held strong! It’s very durable and easy to take down as well. 7/30/2025 Update: The seller contacted us and offered to send us a replacement free of charge. We used it on Monday, and it worked great! 10/10 customer service from the seller and good product overall. We've used this item twice on the Florida panhandle beaches this summer. The max wind we saw was 20 mph. The pole is not stable in the sand no matter how deep we put it. The metal arm poles on the canopy seem awfully stressed and are bending at an uncomfortable angle. Because of that, the fabric corner parts are far too long which leads to flapping and stress at the base of the sand bag. One of which is tearing already. The shade screen adds even more weight to the already stressed arms and is unusable. 0/10 would not recommend. ... show more

Lightweight easy set up. But had a hole. It was purchased in advance for a planned family beach day. So it was too late 😕 to return. By the time we noticed it was torn. No patches came in the shipping box either. Disappointing I paid for this and it's ripped.

Easy to assemble. We set it up with two adults but you could do it alone (it would just take longer). It stayed in place on a breezy day at the beach but when we set it up on a very gusty day it didn’t hold. Our favorite feature that it’s anchored with sand. It had 8 such anchors. We saw a similar canopy on the beach but it only had 4 anchors filled with sand and it didn’t hold very well. It comes with a nice duffle bag, stakes and two nice sized shovels. Bonus- all of the components fit easily into the bag (sometimes items come with bags or cases but it’s difficult to get the item back in). We regret not buying it sooner! ... show more
