Replaced an old wench that the strap was starting to deteriorate. The only problem that I’ve seen is the hook is huge! It barely goes through the eye of my pontoon. I had to put it on first and then wiggle my safety cable around to get it to fit. I don’t think that it needs a hook that large and it probably won’t fit smaller boats. ... show more

Paint started chipping almost immediately, hook is too large and the switch to change how it ratches is pretty janky and it's not easy to use. Overall I'd skip this.
