I got these because I was tired of having to sink my trailer and truck so deep into the water to unload and load my wife’s SeaDoo Switch Cruise pontoon boat. I bought the one kit and spaced the pads on the main bunks 10” apart. That left me six pads available. Rather than reposition the pads on the bottom bunks (I hadn’t screwed them in yet), I used them near the top of the two side bunks. That way, if I wasn’t happy with how they did, and I needed more pads, I could get the smaller kit to easily add more. The kit makes the loading and unloading MUCH easier!

I load and unload a a 19 Foot Boat on my own which can be difficult when you get older. I installed these directly on top of my carpeted bunks in about 15 minutes. I wish the world would abandon Philip Screws, they are the worst. But that is my only complaint. Once Installed my boat slid on and off so much easier. Well worth the price and time to install. Saved my Old Back from trying to pull my boat up onto the the old bunks.

I love these bunk slides. I bought a used trailer and I dislike carpet bunks. I compare these slides to like quick slick on the bottom of a boat. They make your boat start sliding so easy. The install was very straightforward and there is pockets for the screw holes so they won’t scratch the bottom of your boat. If you got a big boat or small boat this makes trailering your boat so easy. I use them on my duck boat and they stood up to the winter with no problem. If you’re redoing your bunks get these and put them on because you won’t be disappointed.

Used these slip pads for a Ranger RT 178 trailer. Lighter weight boat to begin with, however these pads make the loading much easier. Use winch when lake levels are lower and these make a big difference. Screws do strip easy. Drill small pilot holes fixes this. Only used a few times but seems sturdy.
