Used these slip pads for a Ranger RT 178 trailer. Lighter weight boat to begin with, however these pads make the loading much easier. Use winch when lake levels are lower and these make a big difference. Screws do strip easy. Drill small pilot holes fixes this. Only used a few times but seems sturdy.

I load and unload a a 19 Foot Boat on my own which can be difficult when you get older. I installed these directly on top of my carpeted bunks in about 15 minutes. I wish the world would abandon Philip Screws, they are the worst. But that is my only complaint. Once Installed my boat slid on and off so much easier. Well worth the price and time to install. Saved my Old Back from trying to pull my boat up onto the the old bunks.

I was skeptical about how much these would help when it came to loading and unloading my boat. I have a pretty heavy boat that has always had trouble sliding off the bunks, and most of the ramps i use aren’t steep enough to get the boat to float off. These runners fixed that issue instantly. Now my boat will slide off the trailer without having to crank the motor and I can winch the boat up much easier without having to “power load”. They’re really durable and the included mounting screws are an added bonus. I only wish the screws weren’t Philips head because they strip really easily, but I didn’t buy these for the screws so it’s alright to me.

Took carpet completely off the bunks. Installed the glides. Boat was still hard to get off and on trailer. Rubbed the glides with wax and now is much easier. No gas motors allowed where I fish, so you manually load and unload your boat. Would recommend this product, but have parafine wax available.
