I like this machine very much. It has some weight to it, which I really like as it stabilize my linework. The diameter is great and the ledge is perfect for helping with grip as it lets you rest your thumb and finger on it. The batteries are very light. So light that it doesn't really add much to the heavy machine and I do not find it to be in the way at all. Battery function is a little more advanced in that he has memory setting, so that is a bit of a plus. Machine is not stroke adjustable, but has plenty of punch as the fixed stroke length seems to be optimized for linework. A lot of throw as the throw adjustment has a lot of room for play. Really nice working with this machine as it just feels natural. The machine, of course, is going to be more for the home tattoo enthusiasts rather than professional, but it can tattoo real skin with no problems. Accessories are pretty good for the most part. The fake skin is too thin for practice at 1mm, so I would get thicker skins as the first step. You might also need stencil gel too. Everything else is good for practice or for real skin. Stencil, cups, gloves, bandage tape, machine bag, and blue soap is good for use on real skin. Ink and needles I would get better ones for real skin, but certainly good for practice. Interestingly, the ink set actually has good packaging, detailed product information, including expiration date... Implying that this ink may be of high enough quality for real skin, but I still like to stick to a brand that I use consistently for real skin. But if in a pinch, I would probably be willing to use it on real skin. I know this is not the cheapest tattoo machine kit, but I think the price is justified for the better machine, better batteries, and the very usable accessories.

As a beginner with a drawing background, this is my second kit, and the jump in quality is night and day. It feels professional, runs smooth, and has boosted my confidence significantly. Warning: The battery life is about 50% of what is advertised, but the performance almost makes up for it. The Deep Dive 1. Professional "Hand Feel" Unlike my first "cheap" kit, this Rhein machine feels like a high-end tool. It’s made of aircraft aluminum and has a satisfying weight—not heavy, but "sturdy." It is incredibly quiet and smooth; I didn't experience that annoying hand numbness you get from high-vibration pens. 2. The Battery Reality Check 🔋 Here is the truth: The box says 3 hours, but in the real world (continuous use from a full charge), I’m getting about 1.5 hours per battery. Since the kit comes with two batteries, you can get a 3-hour session in, but you’ll definitely be swapping them out. 3. Performance & Confidence The needle depth adjustment is precise, and the 5V-12V range lets you find your "sweet spot" easily. I’ve done a few tattoos with this now, and the stability of the coreless motor actually makes me feel like I know what I’m doing! My lines are cleaner and my shading is more consistent. 4. The "Studio in a Box" Value This kit is incredibly generous. You get: The Essentials: 2 batteries, Type-C cables, and a solid grip cover. Practice Gear: 2 skins, transfer paper, and 75ml of ink (which has decent saturation). Hygiene Overload: 100 pen covers and bubble soap (huge plus!).
