The media could not be loaded. Over the last months, I have been building my home video studio and am finding lots of great equipment as I build it out. I am enjoying playing around with flat panel lights and these RGB lights are a step up in the game and they take up VERY little space and they set up very quickly. They are bright and the colors are really vibrant and pop. (see my video/pics I posted too) It is nice to get a full range of colors on them which is great for photography as well as for video and fairly affordable for the amount of lighting you get. Obviously the color portion will not work if shooting against a green screen as you need just the white or off white, but you also have that feature if you do not want the colors. But to set mood lighting of a scene, being able to have a whole range of colors is definitely useful, you can have one red and one blue and with the boom arm, it can light from above. It did come with a weight bag for the boom arm, I am not sure what to fill that with for the weight on that, if it's just sand or some other kind of weight, maybe another reviewer has an idea there. * The only difficulty I kinda had in setting the lights up, was with the plastic diffuser sheet that came with the lights, I would have liked to see that attach more or just be built on or be more clear on how to attach it, but I am not going to knock any stars off because of something like that. I did finally figure it out...It goes on between the Barn doors with the space in between, but you will not be able to fully close those doors, so if you are traveling with your lights often, maybe take those out. Affordable lights with a full range of RGB colors.

The media could not be loaded. I gotta be honest, I bought these on a bit of a whim. I had just finished a photoshoot where I used both gels and "standard-white-balance-only LED panels. All of these are great individually but it was time to invest on panels that can do both. While gels are great, you don't have very fine control on color choices or saturation and swapping from one color to another can get tedious. The simple advantage of having full control from the back of the panel to change the color of the light is amazing and that's what I was after. I hadn't really looked into the other features that this panel set has besides the fact that it had power adapters, stands, a boom arm, barn doors, diffusers and a carrying case. All of these are decent enough by the way. What I was really surprised with were the other features I hadn't paid attention to. I'm sure other panels have their own perks, but I found the included features in these really nice. I hadn't realized that one panel can control the other when they are on the same channel/group. It's actually quite useful and very easy to separate them with dedicated buttons for channels and groups (no sub-menus). I also hadn't realized that they came with built-in color/strobe modes. This is pretty fun for video work as you can mimic lightning bolts, TV lighting, police, ambulance and fire truck lights as well as just cycling through the entire RGB range (a slow cycle and a fast cycle). Again, I mostly do photography but I can see the fast RGB cycle being useful in long exposures. One other nice detail is that these go down to 1% power output. That's something that my other panels don't do and I have had some issues before where they just didn't get dim enough. These Ivisii panels can be super dim and that's a nice feature. Anyhow, you can see it all in action in the video I made. I do mention a couple times in there that they have a "battery bank," which is not correct. They never claimed to have batteries, I just happened to use my own in the video (it's VERY nice that they are compatible with the standard Sony batteries) which made me use the wrong description. Bottom line: very happy!

This is the third set of these lights that I have purchased. The first two sets work well but the light stands were not the greatest. The light head does not attach firmly to the stand on the older models. However, there was apparently a redesign with this latest version. The light stands are made better and the light head now attaches firmly to the stand. I sure would like 4 more of these newest stands for my prior purchases if I could get them. These lights are just what I need for my video studio.

One of the barn doors is broken off upon opening package and build quality is to low for such a high price. Please dont buy like i did and get a high quality name brand instead of this Chinese alibaba garbage.

The media could not be loaded. I think im more excited to write this review than I should be! I cant get enough of these. So much I ordered wireless batteries for each one. I thought i would use these just for photography stuff to replace my old lights. Well these are so universal you cant even imagine! The flash and strobe options make these perfect for any party atmosphere and videos for things. I cycled through a lot of the strobe options. Ok so lets get to Pro's/Cons Pros: * Easy carrying case * Portable * Easy easy controls * Tons of flashing options * Full white spectrum (From yellow to cool white) * Easy setup and tear down * Case comes with an extra slot for the batteries * tall stands and the boon is a nice addition * Usability is extremely easy, minimal options to do everything Cons * The only con is the amount of batteries, i found myself having to spend another $100 for the wireless option. But thats personal preference.
