I have tried emulators in the past through my iPad but it can get time consuming downloading roms constantly. This works better than I expected, the interface is nice and it works smoothly. I was able to play Harvest Moon 64 again and I haven’t been able to in over 20 years. Sometimes it seems to freeze up, and it can sometimes be difficult to exit a game without resetting it but that may just be my issue and I need to reread the manual. It’s slightly smaller than a Switch Lite in terms of length, and thumb grips fit perfectly on them.

Stopped working after two days, my in-law was playing it and the screen turned white. Reset it a few times and it just does the same thing. It’s probably this dollar general rip off of an sd card.

Product has a decent size display with a great ease of play. Functions are easy to understand. Battery life last for a good amount of hours. Definitely worth it if u looking for a mini console on a budget.

Bought this handheld hoping the current firmware of a multiple version series would work well. Firstly, the Roms promised for this device like GBA, SP, GB and other smaller handheld devices were not part of the bundle. You will get a lot of older arcade style games. In order to add these other console roms you will need to add them through the onboard wifi or computer through anbernics' site. The Wifi is also very tricky to connect (youtubes are helpful) but they have already added the game site to your apps section. The battery is fair and best on the charger. Reoccuring load screens are also a big problem. The biggest fix is to replace AND clone the current sd card with a samsung evo or Sandisc extreme of the same size. This should also help with Rom and game save storage. Unless you are a hobbyist of handheld and other emulators this is not for you. May as well buy a trusted steamdeck, switch or more expensive emulators. All in all, this handheld was not worth the additional hassle to update every part of its software and storage.

This was really good in the short time I had it. Great screen, controls felt nice. I have medium/large hands, it fit nicely. I liked it so much that I upgraded to a nicer model. Make sure you read a reputable setup guide before you purchase. There's a few accessories that are necessary to have the ultimate experience.
