I use it to play OoT and other N64 games. They all work fine except for the Paper Mario ROM which crashes and the Yoshi’s Story ROM which lags when you jump. The same ROMs work just fine on my PC using Dolphin, so the ROMs can’t be at fault. Then again, I’ve never bothered to tinker with the graphics settings too much on this product so I won’t blame it for my possible ignorance. The SNES games have not had any problems so far. I am very happy, overall, with the device. Far too many of the advertised number of games are Japanese versions, so there is a significant language barrier. Regardless, the value for the price is solid. Build quality is on par with price point. The device is probably much more capable that I am aware, but with Linux as the operating system, I’m a bit lost. I was honestly surprised when I received the RG353V model. I know some people may not care for the android side of things, but again I was impressed that it handled it so well! Immediately out the box, I installed ArkOS onto the main SD card (16gb). The boot up time was significantly cut, so I was able to load straight into a game in less than a minute. The display is amazing as well! It’s a bright screen, but after some brightness adjustments games looked natural and were easier on the eyes. I’d recommend getting an SD card with more storage, the 64gb that it came with is good but I’ve heard they’re not always reliable. Also, if you plan on getting a lot of PSP and PSX games then it would be an even better idea to purchase one. Overall, Anbernic did a great job with the RG353V and I would highly recommend buying one; everyone can experience their own nostalgia. ... show more

I bought this for my boyfriend as a Valentine’s Day gift and I must say he’s pretty addicted to it already! It has a lot of old games he used to play and it brought back many memories. I rate it a 4/5 because we couldn’t get the Bluetooth to work… he wanted to play it on his TV with a (wireless) controller but it wouldn’t connect to any controller. The boot up time varies depending on which os you are booting into. The android os is okay. There is an update online somewhere for it. Easy enough to find and perform if you have knowledge of the process. I tried to get JELOS but the file wouldn't write to any of my micro SD without being corrupt for some reason. I made copies of the provided SD as they are questionable quality. Runs most of the old school games just fine. Screen looks odd on some games but fine on others. Newer handheld similar are being released all the time. If you just want some retro handheld this works fine. If you want N64 etc. Might want to wait for newer ones. It's hit or miss on N64 and beyond. Some work some are janky. ... show more
