Maybe someone with a little more technical knowledge would be able to navigate that better. Hardware quality is decent. Everything works properly, but you need to know how to read the manual, learn the button combinations, and how to use the system's "save states" to actually save. You'll need to research how emulators, ROMs, and SD cards work if you want to add more stuff like mario games. All the people complaining that this doesn't work are lacking troubleshooting skills. Follow instructions and watch a tutorial on youtube if you can't figure it out. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this handheld for Nostalgic games I found while playing someone else's. The 4 star rating is because of a serious that may have been overlooked. You cannot play the Nintendo DS games due to them requiring a stylus. Don't ignore this until it comes up and bites you in the rear. You may end up making more money than your competition with a stylus for anbernic handhelds. The game selection is indeed incredible. Good luck. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I would probably rate this device pretty highly if i could use it. It looks great, seems to be built well, lots of positive reviews out there. My just won't boot up even once, so I guess I don't really have a choice but to give it 1 star.

Update, the seller has responded to my issue with this item and is sending a new unit. Will update to 5 star once replacement arrives and is in good working order....This isn't even worth one star its garbage. The battery will not charge so it only works while its plugged in and even then it dies and completely shuts down which causes it to erase all of your saved game data. Very frustrating to spend time building up in a game just to have it all deleted and lost. If it werent for that one major issue this would be great. ... show more

I was not expecting this to be as good as it is. I will say, this does NOT come with 2500+ games as the description says but, THATS OK. The N64 emulation has some minor graphic glitches out of the box and some very minor frameskips but is still very playable. My biggest concern was the PSP capabilities. So far playing Megaman X maverick hunter, i have had ZERO issues. (no pun intended). Im going to try different games for it in the future to see how well other titles perform. The firmware installed initially on this is not bad. Some of the game names are cut off on the screen and you have to wait for them to scroll to read the entire title. I kind of wish the device its self had a larger version. my phone is larger than this thing but for the price of it and what you are getting, this is a very good deal in my opinion as someone who tends to lean toward retro gaming. ... show more

Very cool device. Took me a few hours to figure out how to get some of the things to work (like Atari 2600 and older Arcade ROM's I had) but it ended up working. Screen could be slightly brighter to make reading some of the text, but never affects the games or gameplay. Tried Atari 2600, Arcade, Nintedo, SNES and Playstation 1 games and so far most run well.
