I have tried different coffee grounds and each one still leaves alot of grounds in the coffee. Also the plunger is to short to get down to the grounds. I would not recommend this unless you like drinking sludge.

Clearly a poorly executed design. There is no reason to taper a french press, pretty easy to know why when you think about it. I'm glad I paid $4 on Walmart clearance, THIS IS A FAIL.
