So I ordered the yellow bc I love the color and it has the cool shot button where the black one does not. I do like to use the cool shot every now and again so I sprung for this one. I love this thing! It is compact, dries my hair quickly and is a great investment! I have been looking for a while for a new dryer and just decided to go back to old faithful. One of the first dryers I ever used, my grandfather had one he absolutely loved and I do still have it and yes it still works! That one is well over 20 years old! It’s slightly different bc it folds and back then came with a travel case and brush and comb! But that was a long time ago! However, this exceeded my expectations and kept me well under budget for what I was looking for. I have been through several dryers throughout the years and decided I just wanted something basic yet efficient. Definitely worth it and just try it out! I have very long hair almost to my waist but it is fine so if have thicker hair then I can’t speak for that. This dryer is small but mighty. It packs a lot of drying power in a small unit, and it's cute besides. My only wish is that there was a warm setting, instead of hot. Sometimes I want the strength of the high setting with less heat, and it is quite hot! I still love it though, and you can just put your thumb on the button to turn the heat off. Get the yellow one! As other reviewers stated only the yellow has the cool blast button - you need this to "set" your style. My stylist also said don't buy anything less than 1800W and this one is like 1875W. Plenty powerful but still small and light.

It does what it’s supposed to do, but the first time I used, the lettering came off. I had what looked like black ink on my hands; it was from the handle. It works fine. Blast of air is strong. Though it only has Hi/Low, I find the cold blast button useful. It’s compact enough for travel.

I love the yellow color of this and it does a great job drying my fine hair (on high) and is lightweight and just the right size. However the “ceramic” claim is just marketing. I have a much older version of exact same drier and they look exactly the same on the inside and perform exactly the same. Still a good drier, especially for the price. And the yellow is so cheerful! I have been using this brand of hair dryer for years. I like it for the heat it puts out and it is light weight. That's not to say each dryer lasts for years - probably about about 2 years with daily use.
