  • pretty good
Lots of options to install. Picture quality is pretty good, not great, not bad. You can reverse the image, have guidelines or not, and install with a bracket or in a hole. they do include a hole saw for flush mounting

  • DIY rear view camera for my Travel Trailer
I bought this camera and a few other parts to build a lower priced DIY rear view camera to use behind my 30 ft 5th wheel RV. Before I get into the details I want to say that having the camera looking behind my RV was amazing and it will be very hard to ever go backwards in time and not have a rear view camera when towing an RV. So the set up I used is as follows. Parts from Amazon: 1. (1) RAAYOO Direct L002 170 Degree Wide View Angle back up Camera 2. (1) EKYLIN 30 foot Car RCA DC Video Extension Cable 3. (1) Electop Audio Video Gold RCA Female to Female Coupler Adapter 4. (1) Youmei Car Backup Camera Realtime Video WiFi Transmitter 5. (1) SPARKING DC 5.5 x 2.1mm Car Charger Power Supply Cord - 12v -24v 4FT Cigarette Lighter Male Plug to DC Connector 5.5 x 2.1mm Cable 6. Plus you will need a tablet or smart phone to view the video image app. I used a tablet I already owned but the app also worked on my smart phone I mounted the Reverse Backup Camera on the inside of the RV high up in the rear window of the fifth wheel using one of the window frame screws and then added the 30 foot Video Extension Cable to run from the camera up to the front of the RV where I connected it to the WiFi Transmitter on the inside of the RV which was powered by the 12 volt Car Charger Power Supply Cord. Luckily there was already a 12 volt outlet in the very front area of the RV. We install the extension cable between the camera and the transmitter before each trip and uninstall it after we arrive at each location. It takes just a minute to do. The cable just lays on the floor when underway. The reason the WiFi transmitter needs to be in the front of the RV is to reduce the distance and reduce signal interference from walls between the transmitter and the tablet located in the cab of my pick-up truck. After getting the WiFi transmitter linked to the tablet via the app, which was somewhat of a hassle, the system worked pretty well except for a few occasional cut outs and other unstable image problems. I mostly blamed these problems on Wifi interference and just accepted it as normal. I used this system for over one year and the image gradually became less stable. Finally the image was off more than it was on so I contacted the camera vendor, RAAYOO, through Amazon and complained. I really didn’t expect much from them since it had been 15 months since I purchased it and the camera was only $20 to begin with. To my surprise RAAYOO got back to me and had some suggestions regarding troubleshooting the problems. They thought that it was not a camera problem but a power supply intermittent ground problem. So the first thing I checked was the power supply. The power supply cord has a indicator light. And when I wiggled the plug, the light stayed on and steady. This ruled out the power supply itself . I then hooked the cables all back together and started wiggling the connections. Sure enough the image dropped out when the cable was wiggled. So I took out the 30 ft extension cable and hooked up the camera direct to the power supply cables. When wiggled the image was stable. I could not make it drop out. I hooked the extension cable back in and it became unstable again. So RAAYOO was right, the problem was a ground in the extension cable, so I ordered a new cable from a different manufacturer. I now am thinking that the extension cable was probably bad from the day I bought it and the problem just grew worse over time. The camera is working perfectly now that we figured it out thanks to the good support from RAAYOO. I am still enjoying my RV rear view camera and I think it is probably a better system than the factory units that try to transmit the WiFi signal all the way from the rear of the RV to the tow vehicle. It is just too far and too many obstacles for the WiFi to work well. I have not received any kind of compensation from RAAYOO or any other vendor for writing this review. I just hope it helps others troubleshoot their rear view camera issues. ... show more

  • Nice, flush mount camera.
I'm using this for security on my RV. Flush-mounting is very clean and one can still see the camera. The package includes a drill and a screw-on adapter and bracket for non-flush mounting.

  • good for the money
Good, with some flaws. Pros: The picture day+night is good, bright colors, matching HD resolution. The angle is really big, so no reason to doubt 170 degree view angle. Cons: The sign for top side is not right, so it needs play to make it leveled to the ground. The flush mounting diameter is a bit less than standard, matching trunk key hole. ... show more

  • One of the most impressive bundles on Amazon
This rear view camera continues to impress me on so many levels. You can tell the company that made it put a lot of thought into what somebody installing it might need. It literally comes with everything you would ever need and more. I mean, name me something else on Amazon that comes with a perfectly sized hole drill bit! It's not just the rear-view camera, but it's the bracket to hold it (two versions including one to screw in or one to stick on), a cool size plastic upholstery remover tool, twist ties, a roll of electrical tape, little splice connectors, the hole drill bit, a small allen wrench, and all the wires you need. It was very easy to figure out how to wire it into my Toyota prius, and after tucking the 26 foot wire into the upholstery it matched up perfectly with my head unit. The video quality is not 4k, but it's wider than most cameras and is perfect when backing up. This is one of the few items on Amazon where I felt the the value far exceeded the low price! Highly recommended! ... show more

  • This camera is small and not too noticeable
I like the fact that it is small not too noticeable picture quality good. I don't like the way it melts it doesn't have the adjusting screws to tilt instead of just you're supposed to bend the metal itself I don't really like that part but it comes complete with everything you would need to install it in the frame if you need two of your bumper and I like that it has which direction is up for no confusion easy installation I like it ... show more

  • Everything needed included!
I ordered this camera for a cheap "nose cam" to mount under the bumper of my off-road vehicle, to give a view of what is directly in front of the truck, which can't be easily seen from the driver seat. I didn't want to spend a lot, since there would be a fair chance of it getting damaged in the routine course of off-road driving. When I opened the box, I was amazed to discover not only the camera and adapter bracket (two styles of mounting supported; both "flush" with a body panel and a "bracket" to attach elsewhere)... but virtually every tool one might want to install it, including a hole saw, hex wrenches, zip ties, cable mounts, a trim panel tool, and even a small roll of electrical tape!! Additionally, more than sufficient cables and wiring adapters to fit almost any conceivable installation method, mounting location and video display. The installation manual was clear and concise, with photographs illustrating various options. I am truly impressed - this kit is above and beyond expectations!! ... show more

  • Small and pretty good
Installed this on the lower grill of my low BMW that will hit a curb with the front splitter. This does the job and for a really good price. I cut one wire to reverse the image for the front view, but left the other because the lines are handy for my use. I don’t hit my splitter anymore.
