I’m not a professional jewelry maker so I can’t speak to how accurate the measurements are. Based on a few measurements I’ve taken off some pearls I own, I’d say it’s pretty accurate. I had to glue on the battery cover because the plastic is cheap and thin and it falls off every time I pick up the unit to use it.
