The first impressions of picking this console up and pressing the buttons were immediately that it was a budget game console, not very high quality but works. Would be good for a kid or a teen as a game console to mess around with on a budget, but any serious gamer or adult wouldn’t be too impressed with the quality of this game console. The console is very light weight, the trigger buttons on the back although are ergonomic and feel good in terms of placement, the button presses feel very hollow and clicky, not a good feeling. The A,B,X,Y buttons feel fine, they are stiff but work fine enough, they are just small. The D-pad feels bad, very stiff and doesn’t register presses very well. The analogue stick also feels very strange, it it is almost like a slider, similar to the PSP original analogue stick, I am not a fan of this design very hard to use. The battery life is fine, sound quality leaves much to be desired, sounds hollow and is very low quality due to single speaker. Screen is actually pretty good for the price, not bad at all. The box also is pretty nice for the price you are paying. Overall, I cannot recommend this unit unless it is for a kid. It is a budget unit at a good price, but controls leave much to be desired, not a lot of great games on here off the bat you need to add your own good ones, screen is good for the price, though for about double the price of one of these you can get a great handheld that blows this out of the water.

I've got nothing good to say about this. But I will warn you; 1) this item obviously had loose components which rattled around in the shell of the system. 2) This system came fully charged, but stopped working completely after about 10 minutes ( and yes, I did try and troubleshoot! ). Pass this one by.

This will run classic games, but you're going to have to load them yourself. It comes with a microSD card with thousands of games (I haven't confirmed the number but there are A LOT, so many that it takes quite a few minutes to scroll halfway down the list) but they all seem to be in languages other than English (at least the ones I tried) so I was not able to actually play them. Additionally, a few of the games I tried froze up before I got very far. Long story short, you're going to have to source and load your own files if you want to play games in English. The device itself is very lightweight, almost too lightweight, it feels hollow and quite cheap. With respect to emulators, you're definitely better off with a PC or smartphone-based options, particularly for GBA and GBC games which was my primary interest.

Compared to a lot of other retro handhelds I have used this one is by far the lightest. It comes preloaded with a lot of games, many recognizable games. Some of the ROMs used are arcade binaries requiring you to coin up, and that only means hitting the Select button to add coins. Pretty easy! Navigating the screens is straightforward, there is a game search function, and you can add compatible ROMs to the TF Card for the supported emulators. This handheld is suitable for most people who know how to use it or are willing to take the time to learn how to use it. What I like: Large bright screen Fully functional gameplay Ability to customize gameplay within the emulator Lightweight Rechargeable battery User customizable folder for favorites Things that could be better: Some of the game thumbnails are missing Long lists are hard to navigate, too much scrolling Large ROMs can be slow to load Would be nice to customize the UI

This seemed too good to be true, and it was. It looks like a neat gaming console with ability to connect to a TV or monitor through RCA jacks (ewww). Rechargable. Comes with lots of games. HOWEVER, the games seem to be copied directly from arcade machines. They are in chinese (not a huge problem) but every one I tried to play showed the intro screen and had a flashing "INSERT COIN" message overlaid which I could not get rid of. At least some of the games were seemingly playable with the coin message overlaid, but this is just not acceptable. Nothing in the bare bones instruction sheet was any help. Furthermore, the games included come complete with the scores of the people who were playing the arcade games. Who dreamed this up?

This is one the "cheaper" handhelds and its build quality shows it but,it does look nice,has a ok screen and plays games great.It comes with a bum load of great classics we all grew up playing in the 80s,90s and early 2000s.Battery life is average,probably get a solid few hours depending on the game and settings.The buttons feel cheap but they do work good,just not anbernic quality and same with the screen.Not anbernic quality but good enough.Its a good little system that plays games great.I am having a blast with it and that's what counts.Happy to have it in my collection.
