Ok I will admit I wasn't expecting anything that great for the price, but this was even more disappointing than I expected. I don't even know why they included the extra controller as it feels extremely cheap. None of the buttons felt the same when pressing them. The included A/V cable seems very cheap as well. The gaming console itself is ok, but the games are questionable. The game "wrestle" was something you would expect to see on Atari 2600 or Commodore 64! Some of the games didn't work properly, however some were ok. The screen color on some games is completely off (see pics), as well as the controls. They didn't even get the spelling right for Mortal Kombat, which is one of the games the controls were totally wrong, and also froze after about 20 seconds. I did tested MK about 4 times and it was the same each time. I wouldn't have played it anyway as the control configuration was completely wrong. Depending on why you might want to get this, it may work for you, however I would not recommend it.

I don't know what to say, the hype from the Amazon page built it up in my head. I liked the idea of there being 500 games from when arcades ruled the mall. Problem is ... this little handheld game kinda sucks. If they were $5 apiece, it'd make a nice stocking stuffer, but at $15 ... really? Not even in the ballpark. I feel like wrapping this one up and giving it away as a white elephant gift at Christmas (legal disclaimer: But I can't do that because I got it as part of the Vine program). There are several issues with this handheld. First, the screen is tiny. Yah, you should be able to put it up on a TV screen through the HDMI port ... oh, wait ... it doesn't have one. All it has is a video jack through the 3.5mm port out to an RCA connector, which means on most TVs you'd need to get an adapter, and then the resolution would be so poor you wouldn't want to waste your time or money. Secondly about the display, the video being shown on the is very poor ... I don't even think it has 8-bit color. It is hard to see and ever harder to control the sprites on the display because it just really is terrible. Not sure the images shows the "real" quality, but should give you an idea. As far as the games go, I was expecting at least a close facsimile of the original games, but I can't even say they are close. They aren't even a cheap knock off. They just kinda ... suck. I could go on for hours, I'd think, but I'll not. If you wanna spend $15 on something, this is not what I'd be buying.

what I like about the product: - 2 options to play (hand held or could be hooked up to TV) we prefer hand held - good battery life - I like that the battery is rechargeable because ones in the past that we got took batteries - great to bring traveling, keeps kids occupied during long car rides - includes fun games such as different mario's possible cons: - so many games and most of them I have no idea what they are (other handheld games in the past show a little display picture of what the games are - no way to tell if its fully charged (light doesnt turn green) - games are not completely in alphabetical order so they could be hard to find - missing some classics games such as sonic
