Ordered this for our granddaughter for when we travel for long distances to keep her amused and occupied. Game has the option of 1 or two players with the extra hand held control. Has video game sound, which thankfully can be turned all the way down. Screen is small, problem for me, but probably not for her. Has a ton of games to chose from, I played one, not very well of course, one of the Mario games, and it pretty much sounded and acted like the old Mario games I used to play once in a while back in the day. Think she will like it, but do wish the instruction sheet was larger with larger print. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

Games are not that good. Some of the games like mortal combat aren't responsive. Screen and color is very good. Variety of games majority of these games u havnt heard of. And kids these days wouldn't be interested in.

The media could not be loaded. The console feels very light so I thought I had to put batteries in. I was surprised when it power on! It asks right away to chose language and then you're ready to go. Lots of games options and it works great. It was hard to put it down and put it away as this is for our son's birthday. The second control is a cool option for 2 players. I really like and might be getting another one for me. Lol

My son has recently been into Super Mario Brothers for a couple of months now. He likes to watch others play Super Mario on YouTube and even myself when I play games. So when I saw this pop up in my feed, I knew this was going to be the perfect starting point for him to start to learn how to play video games. The handheld console itself is as big as a Gameboy I would say since it is the same shape and size. It's pretty loaded with hundreds of games to choose from which keeps myself and my son busy teaching him for hours on end since the battery life on this unit is pretty impressive. It is great for long car rides or trips and the other great option is that I can connect it to the television and play on the big screen.

I'm an 80s baby and grew up on these games. Its light weight, small and packed full of all the games of our generation! I charged it up immediately and took a trip down memory lane and geeked out to some old school games. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have some fun with such a cool game.

I don't know what to say, the hype from the Amazon page built it up in my head. I liked the idea of there being 500 games from when arcades ruled the mall. Problem is ... this little handheld game kinds sucks. If they were $5 apiece, it'd make a nice stocking stuffer, but at $15 ... really? Not even in the ballpark. I feel like wrapping this one up and giving it away as a white elephant gift at Christmas (legal disclaimer: But I can't do that because I got it as part of the Vine program). There are several issues with this handheld. First, the screen is tiny. Yah, you should be able to put it up on a TV screen through the HDMI port ... oh, wait ... it doesn't have one. All it has is a video jack through the 3.5mm port out to an RCA connector, which means on most TVs you'd need to get an adapter, and then the resolution would be so poor you wouldn't want to waste your time or money. Secondly about the display, the video being shown on the is very poor ... I don't even think it has 8-bit color. It is hard to see and ever harder to control the sprites on the display because it just really is terrible. Not sure the images shows the "real" quality, but should give you an idea. As far as the games go, I was expecting at least a close facsimile of the original games, but I can't even say they are close. They aren't even a cheap knock off. They just kinda ... suck. I could go on for hours, I'd think, but I'll not. If you wanna spend $15 on something, this is not what I'd be buying.

This is a bad buy even at $14. The overall feel is cheap and generic. The screen on the unit I got doesn't work. I get lines or it completely turns grey, so I'm not able to play any games. It's a nice idea and has lots of old Nintendo games (which are probably not licensed), but again, once I select a game the screen goes wonky. I'd skip this entirely.
