They work great and you can play classics on your big screen. The controllers are light, but sturdy and are comfortable. They are not rechargeable (but at the price point, I'm not surprised). They take 2 AAA batteries. There is a bit of lag from the controllers on a few games that will take a little getting used to. The mini-USB power cord isn't long, so either have your TV close to a plug or an extension cord to your USB adapter. Other than that, it was a good deal and it'll be fun to use.

I did try this out and it’s so much fun! There are so many options! It also comes in a nice box. Going to be using it for a gift so that gift box is very important! But also really important that it works great and easy to start and use

The media could not be loaded. As soon as I got it, it was out the box and connected to the TV. It works. OMG it does!!! For all the old school gamers with doubts , it is truly an old-school gamer dream come through. It is equipped with the HDMI mini console that connects directly to your TV and powers with a usb mini charger, similar that which powers your Firestick. The two controls is powered by two AAA batteries, each and connects wirelessly to the console via a wireless adapter the size of a mini flash drive. The adapter connects directly into the console for operation. The controls take a little getting used to because the right buttons are not the same as the more popular gaming console. Overall, this is me getting a bang for my buck. Ps. My husband loves it and the boys as well.

The moment I turn it on I’m a twelve year old kid, sitting on my parents couch playing crash bandicoot with my family! There something so nostalgic about the pixelated graphics and the 2 dimensional, side-scrolling games. It’s can’t wait to introduce my kids to all the games I use to love!
