Seems like a decent quality substitute to some more expensive alternatives. The black cover on the main body is just a sticker rather than paint. I could tell because the sides were peeling already when I opened the box. I see a bit of touch up in my future. Overall it seems very similar to my old rollnlock one. The lock is a bit shoddy but still releases. Install was pretty easy and a one man job- just awkward. I upgraded the weather strip during install with a seamless double channel strip. Also added 4 additional clamps to make sure it stays put. Going to upgrade the drain hoses as the little short ones it came with don't reach the bed ports on my GMC and I'm not drilling. Glad to find one that works w the multipro tailgate and doesnt interfere w its auto operation. Overall it looks great. Should point out that on the bay you can find the same one for about 550 right now also w free shipping. Seller sent a revised manual and install video that were helpful. I'd recommend this product. Will update with some more info on longevity/durability in the near future. Initial review after a full 3 days of bad storms is that it keeps all the debris from the row of oak trees I park under from falling into the bed as well as a bit of water...and that's just having the hoses dangling into the front of the bed still. For those curious, I found a few decent ideas for routing the tubes using pex fittings on some truck sites that I'll try out. Will update with sizes later.

So I purchased this item weeks ago. Somewhat easy to assemble. Drain hose was to short plus locking mechanism was broken out the box. So I returned it seeking a refund and they've yet to refund my money. Even after receiving their merchandise back. Buyer beware. Part 2: customer service was horrible. Plus they will charge you a 300 dollar restock fee even if item is defective due to them. I would definitely not buy this product. You're taking a gamble with your money

Instructions aren't the best, so if you're not mechanically inclined get some assistance. There is a video QR code on the installation instructions. Watch it, it will help. I installed this alone without a helper, it can be done, but it's not the easiest to do. If your truck bed is like mine you're not going to have the front "drainage holes" aren't there like the example. I pulled the side plugs and drilled a hole into it, pressed the drainage tubes through them about 1/2 an inch. So they are secured in there. The powder coating is nicely done. I got the one with the key lock. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. 1) the coverage area, as you can see in the photo it does not cover the side rails and it does not extend to the edge of the tailgate. The side railing doesn't get fully covered, and the tailgate only has about a 1" lip coverage. You have to slide the carrier back until the provided weather stripping lip lines up with the very edge of the bed. 2) the lock is hard to use, getting it to lock and unlock isn't easy, and pressing the button to open takes a lot of pressure. The manual twist knob on the inside doesn't reset every time, after installing I had to twist it manually when I was trying to close it. Also when opening it skipped the initial stopping point and opens all the way. It just depends if the locking tabs reset to their proper position or not. Overall you get what you pay for, this is a decent investment to help cover the items in your bed, protect whatever you want to store in there. It will limit space in your bed, so if you're constantly trying to haul a bed full of stuff, you're going to have to plan different. I don't know if it will leak a lot, the drain tubes also add limits in the bed. It looks like I will have to get some sort of weather stripping for my tailgate as I have the multi-function tailgate that drops down into a step. If not I think water will end up flowing into the bed that way, also the end caps aren't covered there's a 1/4 inch gap the bed railings do not cover. I'm not so disappointed in it that I want to send it back, and I'm happy with the what I got. For the price you really can't beat it. Hope this review and the photos help you make an informed choice in purchasing a bed cover.

The video on how to install the cover wasn't updated. So husband read the booklet. The cover looks great and we will try it out next time it rains to see if our stuff stays dry.

Installation Manual could be written better as it seems incomplete! You definitely want to watch the installation video. On step15 they go over installation of the clamps, but they don't fully explain the process of adjustment or when to tighten the parts that they tell you to leave loose. On step 16 they show the plugs removed for the bed tie down anchors and on step 22 using one of them for the front drain hose, on my 2019 Chevy Silverado Z71, I didn't feel that had sufficient drainage, also the hoses where to short to reach anyway! So I decided to install additional bed tie down in that location that I purchased on Amazon. If you decide to install the drain hose below the stock location you need to be aware of the gas fill location. I drilled holes for the drain hose approximately 7" below the stock location.
