So far, so good. It works smoothly, and the hose retraction mechanism is noticeably better than another retractable hose I bought a couple of years ago from a different brand. It’s also lightweight yet sturdy. Nozzle is better than average. Installation was very easy. The hose that connects to the spigot could be longer, it is kind of short (I had to connect an extension hose, because I installed the hose reel about 12 ft. from the spigot). Decent and works well to not have to roll up hose BUT pressure is about 50% of a traditional hose. If you're running a sprinkler, you can definitely tell the difference.

This is a very useful system. I screwed the mount directly to the house siding and it works wonderfully. Hose pulls out and retracts easily. The hose is narrower than an average hose, but water pressure is not affected by this. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Edit: 5 months later. Minimal adult only use. The spray head literally just fell off. Broke. Nothing near it. No one using it. It just fell off and cannot be reattached. No idea if I can purchase a new one (not that I should have to). Now questioning the integrity of the rest of the product. I had reservations prior to buying this, but decided to take the plunge. I am glad I did! The hose and reel work as intended. Comes out smoothly. Goes back in perfectly (be sure to hold it and walk it in). No leaks. So much better than untangling and wrapping up a regular hose. I attached it to the side of my deck that is only feet away from the spigot. Took about 5 minutes to be up and running. The pressure seems fine, even with the smaller diameter. I no longer dread the backyard chores that involve the hose. Easy peasy. I would recommend.

I was very much hoping for the best with this reel — the concept is spot on, but the quality just isn’t there. I rarely leave reviews, but this one deserves a warning label. Out of the box, the plastic housing had odd stains/marks that looked like sloppy manufacturing. Installation was frustrating. My faucet is in the garage, so I had to mount into a stud. The bracket design doesn’t accommodate a standard 2x4 surface, and the drywall anchors included were useless. That meant an unnecessary hardware store trip to buy anchors that could actually suck the mount right up against the drywall and support the weight. To make matters worse, mine didn’t even include the rubber seals for the faucet connection, so I had to go back again before I could even use it. Once installed, the flaws kept adding up. The hose diameter is noticeably smaller than a typical garden hose from Home Depot, and the included nozzle is very poor quality. The rubber ring around the spray selector is already falling off and it leaks badly. Sure, I could replace it for $15 at Home Depot, but for $150, I shouldn’t need to replace anything out of the box. Worst of all, the retracting feature is unreliable. Sometimes it reels in smoothly, but other times it jams halfway and has to be tugged and hand-fed back in. For the price, this should have been a reliable, plug-and-play upgrade. Instead, it’s been nothing but frustration.
