Solid sturdy device. Metallic paint is great quality, ruggedness is great, nice and thick metal construction and motor is great. This unit is a bit heavy, in a good way as this meants they didn't go cheap on metal construction and keeps the unit firm in place when you are mixing your eggs or dough. My hearing is not the best as I have tinitus and I tend to have my TV louder than usual. To my point, I did feel the motor could be quieter, it is no blender grinding ice, but I thought the motor could be a few decibels quieter for the unit size. I still recommend this unit 100%, my kid makes cakes, whip cream, home made corn tortillas, cup cakes, it is such a life saver. You just set the unit up, wait 5 or 10 minutes and your batter, whip cream or dough is readtly without and or finger fatigue, it definitely will make your baking that much fun. ... show more
