I have been using the 1st one in a hospital setting for a few months now and I have not had any issues. I use it multiple times a day for 3 days a week. It stretches far enough to reach the door pads, which is an issue I was having with other badge reels. It feels sturdy. When I pull it, I don't feel as though it's going to break (not retract). My 1 year old has played around with it a few times as well. It's also easy to clean (important during a pandemic). The package came with 3 reels, so I don't think I will need to purchase anymore for a while. Overall, I would recommend to anyone that likes stars and needs a badge reel. I bought these after my other badge reel finally broke after 1.5 years of constant use to get through doors and elevators. The first of the three I originally bought broke right at the end of the cord where the badge attachment sits. The first lasted about 2 months. The second broke suddenly when it got caught between a seat cushion and armrest but had already started fraying in the same place as the first. The third is shown in the pictures and has also started fraying in the same place as the first two. I’ve been using the third one just over a month now and hope to get at least another month out of it before it too breaks. But I really like the glittery pattern and the price for the three pack. It’s just aggravating that the product doesn’t appear to have a quality cord. The “clip” also has somewhat sharp edges that have ruined the little bungee attachment on my uniform so I’ve had to start attaching it elsewhere.
