UPDATE: Delivered--Surprise! This came on time as notified, in a nice crate, with no damage at all. It is a very nice unit and I do recommend it. I will not knock the product, since I haven't used it. I will mark down the vendor for not being clear on the electrical requirement. This requires a dedicated 20A circuit to run. I was told it worked on the standard 15A three-prong plug. I do not know why Amazon does not require all sellers to clearly list the amperage and plug requirements on such a costly, heavy, and beautiful product. I have seen other videos and reviews where people are surprised to find out they need a dedicated 20 Amp circuit for these to run. Now I have to send it back. It will be too expensive to run a 20A dedicated line where I want the unit to go on the upper level. I wish I knew this before ordering; and, unfortunately, I had to unpack the entire box to find a 20A plug on the bottom of the package. All in all, this is a great looking unit. Wood is smooth and looks very sturdy. The finish is very nice and would work well with most any decor. I really liked the unit as it appeared. It a shame that it turned out to be a waist of energy and time. Original Review: I rated this predelivery review a "2" because the ad shows 11 "all-5" reviews on this product. However 10 of the reviews are for a back rest and not the sauna. This is very deceiving, very unprofessional, and should not be allowed. I took a chance on ordering this sauna anyway because of PRIME, and will provide an actual customer review, top to bottom, after I receive, assemble, and use this item. I am trusting RESTISLAND is a reputable vendor; otherwise I will send this back within the 30-day window (praying I do not have to do that). So far, the delivery is shaping up to be very quick. Again, I will provide information on any vendor contact (good or bad) in my update and delete/replace or adjust my review rating as appropriate. NOTE: The electrical requirements are not listed anywhere in the ad. I had to call Amazon to confirm this item is 110v 15A (USA), which is what I was looking for. This, too, should be clearly printed in any sauna ad information/photographs to avoid "customer surprises" upon delivery and needless returns. ... show more

Snapped together easily - think most do. You will need to stand on a stool for the multiple connections on the roof. They all snap together. The shipping box is very good. Wood straps with at least a hundred good, small screws. Very sturdy indeed. The glass door is tempered and pretty heavy. Can be assembled by one healthy person but two would probably make it easier. I don’t start to sweat until it hits 140F - this is a dry climate. 130F found in some units may be inadequate for those in a very dry climate. A LOT of lighting options and it has a small ionizer/ozone unit I’m almost 6’5” and it offers a couple extra inches of room everywhere when seated. But sitting in a sauna can be pretty slow. May mount a TV outside of it. Though peace and quiet is likely good for the soul. Be sure to mount the seat before the front piece. Only way it easily fits. Front glass says Restisland on it but it looks classy enough. Being cold or hot is considered to be good for testosterone levels. Smash Hulk soon! j/k ... show more

This is a must if you use your sauna daily or often!!! It look good inside , not an eyesore if that’s something that bothers you , it supports the lower back so I don’t have to hunch forward I can relax and enjoy it now much more. I recommend this product

    • One Heat Emitter does not work!

I love the look and design of this sauna. Easy setup (2 hrs total). Upon first use, the lower panel under the bench does not work. I am not receiving a reply from the email provided in the manual for issues. I do not want to return the whole thing through Amazon because it's quite a project, sauna is upstairs. Update: RestIsland contacted me after I had returned it through Amazon. They offered to take care of the issue, and offered a discount. It appears my emails were going to there spam system.
