  • A decent chair
Color: Grey
Got this as a gift for my fiancé and it was comfy! Sadly tho the arm rests broke pretty easily but it was otherwise a good chair!

  • A great chair for working and gaming.
Color: Grey
I recently purchased the RESPAWN-200 Racing Style Gaming Chair. This is my first time ordering a gaming chair, and I spent a lot of time researching and comparing chairs to find the best chair for my needs. In Fall, I do my homework at a desk and in Summer I play games at night. Because of its comfort, price, and practicality, this is a great chair for both working and gaming. The chair is very comfortable for multiple reasons. The back rest of the chair is made of sturdy black mesh and provides great support for my lower back. The black mesh also allows the chair to be very breathable. The chair has a head and neck pillow for comfort which is adjustable for the perfect placement. In addition, adjustable armrests provide the perfect arm height for using a keyboard. Finally, when you want to take a nap, the chair reclines up to 130 degrees and does so without threatening to tip over. I determined that the price of the chair was also very competitive and affordable. For example, the competing DXRacer Formula Series Chair costs $289.00, which is $140.00 more than the RESPAWN-200 Racing Chair. The RESPAWN chair was also available on Amazon Prime and includes free shipping and free returns, but the DXRacer chair was not. Some of the other chairs came with built-in speakers, making them more expensive. This allows the manufacturers of the chairs to make them out of lower quality materials on the features that are more important to me. The RESPAWN chair was also 30% off on Amazon, which made it even more affordable. Compared to other chairs, the quality and price of the RESPAWN was great and offered the best value. The practicality of the chair was also very logical. The chair was sleek and practical for a confined work or gaming set-up. For work, the chair can serve well for reclining and reading a textbook, or for sitting up and reviewing a paper. The chair was also good at swiveling in a confined space if you have two desks for work. For gaming, the adjustable armrests were perfect for getting the correct arm height for my keyboard and mouse. As for shipping, the chair was delivered in two days and was handled carefully. When I unboxed the RESPAWN chair, it had no marks on it and was in great condition. The assembly of the chair was also very simple, and I was provided with clear, easy to understand instructions. When I purchased the RESPAWN chair, I was not sure if it would be all that I hoped it would be. The main things that I was concerned about were shipping, if the chair would get damaged in the shipping process, and finally, whether the chair was as good as it was advertised. ... show more

  • Good Dual Purpose office/leisure chair even for a tall guy.
Color: Grey
I'm 6 ft 3 in tall, I weigh 185 lb and wear 32 x 36 in jeans. I tell you that in case you have a similar physique and are looking for a chair like this. When I'm working at the computer I prefer the back straight up and locked with the lumbar support low on my back. When I turn my chair to watch my 55-inch TV that is about 8 feet away and suspended from a 9-foot ceiling height I allow the back to be completely free, not locked , so that it follows me up when I lean forward or get out of my chair. The maximum tilt back angle is just about perfect for that. The seat cushion is medium firm and just about what I like. The two-dimensional armrests are great. While at the computer I have them raised all the way up and all the way forward. While watching TV, they go all the way down and all the way back so they are accessible when I'm tilted back. Minor niggles. Even at my height I wish the chair could be lowered a couple of more inches. The lumbar support while good is a little difficult to get to while seated, but possible. But I like that I can control the height and the angle of the support. I also wish that I could tilt the seat back even a little bit when I lean back in the chair so I didn't slide forward after a while. Overall, very good value for the price I paid. ... show more

  • Great computer chair
Color: Grey
I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it's great, I haven't had any back pains while playing games or doing school work, the chair itself is quality and the styling is great too.

  • Only smaller framed folks should apply.
Color: Grey
I bought this based on a review from a PC Gamer article I read online, naming it their #2 best chair of 2018. They stated it was one of the most comfortable of all the ones they tested, and I liked that it had a mesh back, as I'm in Florida and it gets pretty dang hot in the summer. Assembly: Pretty easy. You get a single page for instructions but there's only about 18 or so bolts to put in. Hex/allen wrench is provided, which is nice because it's tall enough to clear the mechanism piece when you have to attach it. Total assembly took me maybe 30 minutes. Comfort: OK, this chair so far is rather uncomfortable for me. But that's my fault for not researching the size, I guess. However it's not listed ANYWHERE on this item's page. I'm about 6'-6'1" and a bit overweight at 255-ish. I was going off the 275lb weight limit thinking it would be big enough. Not so much. Unless I slide forward to the front of the chair, which totally negates any lumbar support, I'm uh... crushing some important things. It presses in sharply on the sides of my thighs and is almost painful. The chair is aggressively bolstered on both sides and there's absolutely way to adjust that. So I'd say you probably want to be well under 200lbs and probably no taller than 5'9" to be able to fit in this chair comfortably. Conclusion: If you're 5'9" or shorter and at a healthy weight for your size you'd probably like this chair okay. I'd return it if I could. Build quality and ease of assembly is fine. But, right now it hurts me to sit at my desk. So that's no good. Maybe it is... but I don't think a chair companie's marketing policy should be "So uncomfortable you will take your fat arse outside and go get some exercise!". If I hadn't put on 30 pounds in the past year it might be passable. In hindsight I wish I forked out $200 more for a Secretlab Titan, which is designed to fit larger people over 5'9". (Edit: Amazon accepted my return, which I greatly appreciate! Disassembling it was easy enough and it all fit back in the box well enough. I ended up ordering a SecretLab Titan, which is better for my figure.) ... show more
