If you're looking for something to clean a carpet this is it!! Tried two different things before this and it worked really good. One can only covered a small room so if you have a bigger area maybe use 2 or 3. Read reviews and said it breaks easily but for us it didn't so maybe we were lucky. Overall definitely worth the money ... show more

Loved this!

While I am sure this is meant for small sections of high traffic areas I used it on a large area but cleaned well and smells great!

Worked well but ...

I get good results with Resolve Pet Stain & Odor Spray Cleaner when spot cleaning occasional cat stains, so thought I would try this kit to clean the 11' x 11' off-white shag rug in my family room. I had a small but very noticeable area of accumulated soiling right in front of my favorite chair and the entire rug needed cleaning and freshening after 3 years of use. This product did a really good job, but it took 7 - 22oz cans of foaming cleaner. I cleaned the heavily spoiled spot 3 times before I was really happy with the results, letting the area dry and then vacuuming after each cleaning. The brush tool worked well for me. I used a metal pet comb to clean the brush head after each can of foam cleaner. Cheaper than buying a new rug. Just wish the foam cleaner was available in packs of 3, 4 or 6 cans at a lower price. Leaves a nice fresh fragrance behind. ... show more

Handle could have been made out of a stronger material but it does do the job of cleaning your carpet and saving you from getting down on your hands and knees.

Handy rug and carpet cleaner.
Style: Pet
Since my dog had a couple of accidents on my expensive wool rug I needed something that was easy to use without bending down and would actually get the smell out. It's very easy to put together and the best part once the spray can runs out all you need to is just buy a new spray. I use it once a week and it works very well. ... show more

Works

With a little elbow grease, it works to get some more recent stains. I can't say if it works for old stains, but it definitely brightens our rugs.
