Informative but narrow scope
Pretty good summary of foundations, soil behavior, moisture problems and repair procedures. Concentrates on slab foundations, probably because that is most prevalent in Dallas. Bottom line is to insure drainage under your slab and insure adequate moisture around it

Residential Foundations
A little outdated but well written and contains good information on the subject. Good reading for anyone involved in construction generally or foundation repair specifically. I'm sure anyone would gain a bit of knowledge on the subject by reading this text.
