Ok! So I needed to get rid of my kitchen blinds because they were hard to clean and it was a problem, so I saw this film an was so excited because it looked like it would give privacy but while letting in plenty of light. Let me start with the installation, I cleaned my window and sprayed it with windex because it was the closest thing I had (Dont judge me), anyways I placed the film on the window and followed the instructions, until I realized I did not have a squeegee or a scraper thing.....soooo I used a hardcover book, WORKED LIKE A CHARM! sooo all in all the installation was easy. I had to cut it into three separate pieces to fit the whole window but it lays so flat and clean that you cant even tell unless you are up on the window. I also did not calculate correctly and ran out of wrap but I ordered another roll for the other side of the window. The pictures are the one side that I completed. NOW! The sheerness is serious! It did not give me as much privacy as I was hoping for, the amount you can see from the inside is the same amount from the outside. I feel like someone can still see clear enough through our window but I am going to see if I can put a film on the outside part also. Either way I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend this film, possible for smaller windows. Also, I have not seen the rainbow effect as of yet but I am ok with that because it still looks good.

This is so beautiful! This window privacy film Very clear instructions and moderately easy to install. Just measure and cut. It is good for blocking the view without blocking the light. This made my windows look gorgeous! Best of all, This rainbow window clings film gives me enough privacy, also adds beautiful detail to my windows.Highly recommend!

It’s easy to put on but does take some patience. It did say on the instructions that it comes with a squeegee and cleaning solution but I didn’t get that. I was still able to apply. It doesn’t give you full privacy but it works well to blur and give a nice frost look. Looks pretty as well.

As easy it seems, I absolutely dread replacing privacy film but I really had to, last one started looking dull and duel did get to it so it was giving me anxiety. I hate cutting part, I’m not very good at it so takes me forever, now it’s relatively easy to put on, this is my 3rd replacement so I didn’t need to look at instructions, already knew what to do. It does provide nice privacy, can’t clearly see what’s inside from outside, and that’s what I wanted. Clean fresh and what I wanted, I barely made it with sizing, so that’s why it took me longer than usual.

The film is good but it does not black out the window , it has a design on the film but you can see inside my bedroom window with the film. It will work with blackout curtains. You will need something else especially if you have a light on.

Make sure you follow the directions to make it as easy and painless as possible to apply. We needed these for the 2 small side windows next to our front door since there wasn't enough room for curtains. Not only is it cute but it really adds the privacy needed - no more people looking in our house! When the light hits it, it leaves a rainbow light pattern in the house which is just so cute too.
