Oh man. I haven’t been able to find my fire stick remote in over a month. I didn’t want to buy a new fire stick and lose all my saved stuff. Starting over is rough when you spent the past few years training your fire stick to show you what you want to see. Plus having to re-download all the apps and not to mention trying to find/re-set all the passwords! The new remote arrived in time and in perfect condition. I just wish the original lasted longer. I've replace several over the year because the remote stops working while the Fire stick is still fine. This one is nice because ot also controls the volume as well. Easy to set up.

I never could figure out how to remove the old remote from the fire stick in order to connect the replacement. So it was a waste of money. I just bought a new fire stick and plan to try again and being the old one to my classroom to use if I need it.
