Nice remote, works as soon as you insert the batteries without further programing. I was disappointed that the volumn would only go to mute UNTIL I FOUND THE TRICK!! The volumn button is a toggle also, pushing it up or down to control the volumn. I found it by searching for a manual for the remote product number BN59-01301C. Now I can give it a 5⭐ review.

Unfortunately a new puppy destroyed my OEM remote, so I ordered this one. Appearance wise, it was closest to the same with almost the same button functionality. Much closer than some of the others. Unfortunately the OEM remote connected with Bluetooth, and you didn't have to point it directly at the sensor. This remote works with IR, so if it's not pointing directly at the sensor or if anything is in the way, it doesn't work. Not a major deal breaker, but it does make it more annoying to use.
