I used this for hanging holiday lights around my room. These hooks work great. I've had success in the past so I thought I would try these out again and they hold up well, are concealable, and support the lights. You can attach at least 3 strands to one hook (probably more), I only placed hooks every 3+ feet and most were where the wall turned or on corners. So this package should last a while. The stickiness is great. It won't hold pounds but it does great for the very light weight of string lights. I found placing the sticky side onto the wall first and press it down firmly, and then a few minutes later adding the clear hook to be the best route in getting a secure attachment. Hooks are reusable, it leaves no sticky residue, and I have even gotten the longer command strips and have cut those and they work great if you don't want to buy the specific mini hook adhesives. ... show more

As is typical of command products, the adhesion is good. If hanging a picture or craft with a string or twine hanger, these would work extremely well. If hanging a 12 month calendar, not so much as the top of the hook is slightly curved towards the wall side, making it difficult to slip things onto the hook. These would also be great for stringing the mini string Christmas lights with, as being clear, they do not stick out like a sore thumb and the hook is just about the perfect size for those. ... show more

Nice little strips good for hanging up small lightweight things. So far I’ve had no issues with them, none have fallen or had trouble sticking. Even when I first stuck it to the surface before wiping it seemed pretty on there. For all my comic collectors, these are perfect to making yourself a comic wall :D ... show more

Was the perfect size to use on the top part of my entertainment center to have my hello kitty string lights. I did have to remove one as I felt placement was incorrect and it was easy to remove without damaging the unit.

It's taken me a couple of days to calm down to write this review. I don't usually write bad reviews without something good to say but there's not much good about this product. The "peel off" paper on BOTH sides was hanging on for dear life and would not give up without a fight. When I was successful in finally lifting a corner, the peel off process was more like a Mexican standoff! I refused to give up and it refused to come off! I only needed to hang 4 items on the fence in my garden, 4 adorable metal butterflies, but the effort and struggle with the darn paper took way too long! I'd say, this should have taken no more than 5 minutes, including prep and clean up. But instead it took over 20 minutes and I was totally infuriated by the end. I managed to mangle many more adhesive strips than I actually needed so the fact that there are 45 clips in the pack is a moot point. You won't have enough strips left to be able to use all the plastic clips. (I just can't imagine trying to use these for a string of lights and needing all 45!). If it wasn't so late in the evening, I would have headed out for another product but I managed to get 4 of them on my fence and my butterflies hung, no thanks to the "easy peel off" process. Now I'm just waiting to see how long they'll last. I prepped the smooth vinyl fence surface as directed and so far, (3 days and counting) they're still hanging on. The package was intact when it arrived, but you know when you have a product like a bandaid that's old and you can tell it's beyond its shelf life? This is how these adhesive strips seemed. The foam under the paper covers was just clinging to the paper so that when you could get it started, it just came off in tiny strips, leaving a striped paper trail. And these things are small! It's a wonder my neighbors didn't hear me cussing! I wish I'd taken a picture to show you how awful these were. Lesson learned, when a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. I believe the seller might have been getting rid of old merchandise at a cheap price and it was WAYYYYY past its prime. If that's incorrect then Command Strips are not living up to their advertising. ... show more
