Close the water in the toilet and empty the water tank. Remove the damaged baffle seal. 2. Connect the new silicone flapper seal to the flushing valve. Lower the baffle plate to confirm that it is firmly seated on the flushing valve and completely covered. 3. Toilet kept running and leaking and running. When I turned off the water the tank would drain within 10 minutes. Searched everywhere for this gasket and was seeing it $20+ from hardware stores. Took a few weeks to get this one shipped in and I popped the old one off and put this one in. Problem instantly solved. That was about 5 months ago and still holding up.
