This is a new swivel car seat, which is huge back saver. We had one of the previous versions and were excited to try this one! As compared to other rotation car seats, this one installs more like a typical seat. It does not come off the base, but installs as one piece with options of the car anchors or belt. This is so much better than the past ones as you can get it in the car without so much struggle. The swivel mechanism does work one handed (a must when carrying little ones), and it is located by the feet of the seat. The location takes some getting used to, but it works really well. I also really love the ease of adjustment in terms of getting the straps in the right spot- there are so many options and you can just move them up and down with the press of a lever instead of having to pull them out and in through tiny holes- so easy as baby grows!! The comfort seems reasonable. I've noticed in these that the bottom straps go over legs instead of hips, but this seems comfortable enough for kids as we've had no complaints. In terms of the size in car, this does say it is slim, and it really seems to be! We've got it in a sedan, and it fits with ease, taking up less space than the traditional one we had there before. It also allows the front seat more space there, even while rear facing, which we appreciate. In terms of the value, this does seem to be more economical. It's not just a gimmick; it adds real day-to-day convenience. The seat is well-padded and feels comfortable and secure. My child seems content in it, and the fabric feels durable while still being soft. There’s solid attention to detail in the construction and design, with thoughtful features like easily adjustable straps and clear labeling on the recline settings. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, which is important given its purpose. Installation is straightforward. While I always recommend double-checking with a certified car seat technician if you're unsure, I was able to get this installed and ready to use right out of the box without any issues. The base stays in place securely, and once it’s locked in, rotating the seat feels smooth and stable. That said, the seat is large and bulky, which could be an issue for smaller vehicles or if you need to fit multiple car seats across a bench. The extra size is part of what allows for all the padding and functionality, but it’s something to be aware of. THis is a well-made car seat with good instructions for installation; I recommend watching the video by scanning the QR code that comes with the quick start guide. No problems fitting it in the back seat of a Camry and securing it so that it doesn't move more than an inch in any direction. It has a leveling feature that makes it easy to see whether it needs to be adjusted. I like that it can be installed once and then used rear or forward facing. Being able to turn the seat to the side makes it easy to get child in/out. For a young child, this is a good choice for secondary caregivers e.g. nannies, grandparents, etc. but I wouldn't recommend this one for the primary caregivers as I think options with the child carrier that snaps into the base are better when you're running errands with a small child. FOr an older child in a forward facing seat, this one would work well for primary or secondary caregivers. ... show more

We just welcomed our first grandchild into the world and decided we needed a car seat for those times when we get the pleasure of watching her. This REO by Revolve360 seat is very nice. It takes just minutes to install in most modern vehicles that have attachment loops built into the seats. You just clip the snap hooks to the vehicle's attachment loops and snug up the belts. For vehicles without the attachment loops there are guided areas for a seatbelt, with or without shoulder strap, to be used to secure the car seat. The hook method is easier than the seatbelt method, but I will have to say that I found the hook tensioning buckles to be a bit unfriendly. The tensioning belt doesn't slide smoothly through it when either tightening or loosening the strap. Regardless, with a little effort, I was able to secure the seat. The top does rock a little more than I would prefer because I would like for it to be completely immobile, but it is within the allowable range of motion. The swivel action on the seat makes it super easy to get a child in or out. The single pull strap used to adjust the child restraint harness assembly works well. Having an adjustable seat height also makes it a great seat to grow with. ... show more
