The 12V AGM battery provides excellent power storage and discharge performance for off-grid applications. I replaced the battery that came with my Jayco travel trailer with this one. A few things you probably will want to know. The battery dimensions are: 13.1 x 6.9 x 8.6 inch / 332 x 175 x 219 mm - no group size is printed on the battery, if you want this to fit your application, those measurements should help. Secondly, if you are used to seeing the standard pos and neg automotive type posts on the top of the battery and need them for your application - you will need to buy screw in posts separately. The battery only comes with minimal, terminal hardware. If you are using this in a camper like I am, you'll want to make sure you purchase the posts separately. Mine will be delivered tomorrow so I'm not going to advise which ones to buy (yet). Alternatively - you may find that it's far better to just replace the connectors on the camper side instead. Just keep in mind that if you are upgrading from a battery that looks like a typical automotive battery, you will definitely need to update your connectors for this one. The 'battery bolts' that come with the battery that you would typically connect your 'load' to are 8mm bolts. ( M8 x 1.25 x 20 mm ). This battery is a heavy beast and is almost too heavy for me to move myself. If you will be moving it around more than a couple times a year, definitely keep this in mind as it's feels much heavier than the battery that came with my camper... which was a more manageable typical automotive size. This battery has 30 amp hours more than the one it is replacing so that explains it, just be forewarned that it's *heavy*. My battery and battery box arrived undamaged which is a small miracle. The packaging was clearly up to the task, but just barely. The outside of the box showed a decent amount of damage. Battery is made in Vietnam, so to get to me here in Colorado, it passed many hands along the way. I have a small, 1 amp maintenance charger that I actually use for my Jet Ski, but I am currently charging the battery with that. It does not arrive fully charged, which I expected to be the case. This battery should pair nicely with my 300 watt solar panel setup on my camper. I will report back after I have some real world use. Shipping was fast.. as I've been tracking this product for a few weeks now, I've noticed that the shipping times (for Prime) vary from 2 days, to 6+ depending on the day I am looking. I guess it depends on which warehouse fulfills the order, but it only took 2 days for me to get mine. Despite living in a fairly large city, finding a battery like this locally is usually a pretty big pain. No core charge, included shipping. It's a great option. The big risk you are taking is if your battery shows up undamaged. Mine is perfect. You place your bets and you take your chances on that one.

This thing is an absolute monster. At over 100lb I felt pretty bad for the delivery guy. When I first installed it in my van in conjunction with two 100 watt panels, I didn't secure it well enough and it slid around in hard turns. The simple fix was a 1 inch wide strip of plywood going around all four sides. Now it fits snuggly in place. Connection and set up was a breeze. You don't have to be intimidated by this behemoth. Solar set up with this, inverter, charge controller, and panels can truly be done by anybody. The battery itself doesn't include any post covers for after connecting everything, but your inverter should have you covered there, pun not intended. The heavy duty nylon straps on each end are a much needed and most welcome addition for easily hauling this thing around. As my review suggests, I'm no electrical expert, so I can't honestly speak for the battery power and longevity. It has, however, served me flawlessly for an entire year. It runs my set power refrigerator non-stop while keeping all of my electronics fully charged and even occasionally running a tiny low power space heater as needed. I'm also looking forward to trying it out on an induction hot plate or a mini microwave in the future. I've even used it to run a full-size household vacuum to clean the van. If more money comes my way, I might check out the lighter lithium battery version in the future.

We bought this on a black Friday deal, and saved some money. These are very expensive, but so far seems well worth it. We use it for our off grid cabin, and moving this 125 lb battery is not an easy task. Once in place, we had plenty of power for all our lights, and running a vacuum cleaner and smaller hand tools. So, we are pleased. Will save up for a second battery so we can run our fridge without worry of draining a single battery.

I received 2 batteries in December. Nice attractive boxes with them. This is the last time I will order anything from Renogy. It is a scam company. The batteries never charged to more than 11.8 volts. That was in December. In January they would only charge to 11.3 volts. Now in February they would not charge to more than 11.1 volts. I turned it on today with an LED 60w light, and 5 minutes later, it disconnected saying bad battery. I tested the battery with my load tester, and it reports as a bad battery. Really? Never got any use out of it. Meanwhile I have 3 other solar arrays and batteries that have never failed. Add to this, their solar charger quit displaying, and when I hooked up their inverter to a different array, it would not deliver any power. I disassembled the unit to replace the 10 2 amp fuses, and still no power. Out put on my meters read zero, while the input reads 12.5 volts. Don't buy Renogy products. No tech support on anything. You are a criminal trying to scam them for reporting. Amazon get rid of this vendor

I purchesed the 100 AH 12v battery and battery box combo. I have purchased othe Renology products and they're good products from a good company. I did have a minor issue with the battery box strap. The plastic buckle broke while trying to install it for the first time. I contacted tech support and they want be to email them a photo of the broken buckle. That's fair enough. So I'm pleased they are working with me to replace the strap. UPDATE: So Renology got back to me and informed me that the strap by itself is not available, so they're sending me a new battery box and strap kit. How about that for customer service. I give them 10 stars. **********!
