Worth every penny. I’ve been working construction for 20+ years. Been through all kinds of “work boots”. These are the Rolls Royce of boots, in my less-than-humble opinion. Perfect fit, feels like I'm walking on clouds. I put a nice chocolate coat of Tuff Toe on them to prolong their life since I know the stitches on the toe will be the first thing to go. High hopes for this boot, will update if my opinion changes

this is probably my 3rd pair of these work boots, always the correct fit for the size I order and no break in period for me. Usually any other boots I have used for work I end up getting a blister on my foot somewhere , these are not the case. If I continue to work I will buy another when these wear out and, BTW the only thing that wore on these was the outside corner of the heel because the way I walk, if it were not for that I would be still wearing the previous pair, would like to find a cobbler that could re-sole these ... show more

I've owned several Red Wing shoes but was looking for a pair that would not only hold up in contractor work but also provide a decent tread for walking on roofs. These shoes have a flat sole with a good grip, exactly what I needed. I've worn them in every type of weather with no problems; my feet stay dry and warm all year. Because the leather is softer than some of the other Red Wing shoes I've owned they scuffed up a litter faster but still are holding their shape.
