  • Happy with the panels
Size: 200W 2-Pack ShadowFlux N-Type Panels
The panels came in damaged. Easy to install, the size of the panels were as expected. Connections are easy due to using standard connections, pre wired . Power output is still being evaluated at this time, have not had the opportunity to really get into the max output capability yet but the panels have been providing constant wattage so far. Renogy customer support was amazing ... show more

  • Well Made, Works in Partial Shade, Can Charge 24 Volt Batteries
Size: 120W ShadowFlux N-Type Panel
I use this panel to charge a pair of 12V batteries wired in series. The panel connects to the batteries with a Victron charge controller good for 15 amps and 75V. The panel is as described. It is rigid and mounted in an extruded aluminum frame. The frame has numerous holes in the back face for connection to supporting structure. The standard solar plugs are clearly marked for polarity. The panel is heavier than I expected - almost 16 pounds. I can say with confidence that the panel is charging my batteries but I cannot vouch for the exact power output. An important distinction of this panel is that it works well is uneven illumination. My panel is in the shade of open trees for part of the day. The dappled light that gets through is used by the panel. I will buy this panel again if I have a similar application. ... show more

  • Fast Charging & User-Friendly – Excellent Solar Panel! ☀️⚡
Size: 200W ShadowFlux N-Type Panel
The Renogy 200W ShadowFlux N-Type Solar Panel is a standout choice for anyone needing reliable and efficient off-grid power. One of the most impressive features is its quick charging capability—thanks to its 25% high efficiency, it delivers consistent power even in partial shade, making it ideal for RVs, marine use, and off-grid setups. The ease of use is another big win. It’s lightweight yet durable, and installation is straightforward with pre-drilled holes that make mounting a breeze. Whether you're a beginner or experienced with solar setups, this panel is hassle-free and highly effective. I've noticed faster battery charging times compared to other panels in similar conditions, and it performs well even on cloudy days. If you're looking for a high-performance, easy-to-use solar panel for your energy needs, this one is a fantastic investment! Highly recommended. ... show more

  • NOT 12V BUT 38V!! BEWARE!!
Size: 200W 2-Pack ShadowFlux N-Type Panels
These panels.say nowhere in Amazon's documentation that they are 38v panels, but infact are. Amazon claims they are 12v panels so I bought a controller rated for 24v thinking this would be enough to run the panel. Nooooope. They seem like great panels but have cost me time and money replacing the charge controller with one that is rated for 50v. As a result I can only give 1 star rating. FIX YOUR INFO! ... show more

  • Best solar panels for the money
These panels are great, good build, well supported by Renogy, and an extremely good value. I have many and have yet to have any trouble with their performance, build quality, or workmanship. They have stood up to all weather conditions in the Midwest without the slightest grumble. The leads are a good length, the connectors are of a good quality as well. Extremely happy with these panels. [UPDATE April 2018] Still no complaints about these panels. I have three solar arrays and these occupy one of them. The other two are Renogy's 24v 280 watt panels. All arrays are wired for 48v feeding three Midnite Solar 150 CC's into a 24v LFE battery bank. These panels hold their own to their 24v 280w cousins. The only difference is the 24v 280's begin producing usable power earlier in the day and hold out til sunset, while the 12v 100's need a little more light before making usable power. Otherwise, they are still rockin solid, and going strong. ;) ***Update 12/2018*** These panels are still going strong... no complaints about that. However... for the money you spend on one of these, you could do much MUCH better. Prices of the 60 and 72 cell panels have fallen DRAMATICALLY these past few years. You can easily get a 350 watt panel on special these days for less than $200 each (trust me, I got 2800 watts of panels for about $1800 a couple weeks ago - shipping included). I love Renogy - don't get me wrong - but as of the time of this update, they are not keeping up with the prices of the here and now. Renogy's prices have not fallen in line with the rest of the bunch, and as such until they do, I won't be buying any more Renogy panels anytime soon. These 100 watt panels are still going for about what they did a couple years ago, whilst the rest of the competition is now selling better items at an extremely reasonable price. Renogy, are you listening?? As for the panels themselves, I've not had a single problem for the past 3-4 years. They are still putting out the same power now as when I first hooked these up. They've survived all sorts of weather with no sweat. Do I recommend these? YES. But only if Renogy begins dropping their prices. Otherwise, I'd have to recommend SolarWorld or Hanwha. I will still find use for the 9 100D Renogy panels I have, only they won't be feeding my batteries at this point. The other panels will do that. Don't get me wrong - these are very QUALITY panels. I've called their customer service and it was EXCELLENT. However for 2018/2019... these are a bit overpriced now and I'm surprised Renogy hasn't kept up with the times. Then again, maybe 100w monos will not go under the $100 mark anytime soon? As for me, I prefer getting my 300+ watt panels elsewhere. If you are looking to start into solar, these are not a bad start by any means. If you want a lot of solar right away... look elsewhere. There are two solar and wind stores (one in MA and the other in AZ) that can accommodate you for anything more than 400w. ... show more

  • working very well
Size: 200W 2-Pack ShadowFlux N-Type Panels
These have been installed for about three months and I have no complaints. My initial design with manually powered tilting with actuators seemed too complicated, so I opted to sacrifice some energy generation by installing with static angles of 10 degrees in opposite angles about 4"-7" above the roof. This allows rain water to run off instead of pooling and avoids leaves and other debris from clogging up underneath which could exacerbate heat build-up. Instead of drilling any holes I used Versa-strut, which allows both a 2-sided strip of Eternabond to adhere the bottom and also a 1-sided strip along the 1" brims for additional downward adherence to the roof, then applied self-leveling Dicor along the tape edges. Hard to imagine any of it will lift up.... time will tell, but out of an abundance of precaution I used 1/8" steel cables crimped from the panel mounts to the existing roof railing. ... show more
