As a freelance artist and small business owner who works from home everyday, I'm constantly hunched over my desk. After many years of doing this, I've developed a pretty bad posture and back pain. That being said, I was in dire need of ergonomic change so I finally got my hands on this standing desk by Flexispot! This has been on my wishlist for months as it's been highly recommended to me by my friends in the creative industry so I already knew I was going to love it. - Putting together furniture is always a bit intimidating at first but don't be fooled - this was incredibly easy to assemble! The directions were straight forward and every piece was labeled appropriately. The entire process only took me about 10-15 minutes! - I'm really impressed with the height of this table!!! I have a small space and try to maximize the use of my area as much as possible so having this option allows me store a lot of my inventory underneath. My partner often helps me with my work and since he's much taller than me, we can easily adjust the desk to accommodate his height. - I've been using this desk to package orders and often times, I'll have a handful of heavy packages placed on top of it. The desk itself is so sturdy and I've had no problems with how much I'm able to place on top of it. It's also very spacious and I'm able to multitask as needed. - Lastly, it's such a visually pleasing desk and is a perfect addition to my at home studio! It blends in perfectly with the rest of my decor and the quality is *chefs kiss* Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase and my WFH experience has significantly improved. Honestly, if I could, I would rate this product beyond five stars... highly highly recommend!!!

I just received and assembled this desk today. I got the "5 minute" assembly model....LOL yeah right. It took me 30 minutes. Was it hard? No. Could I do it in 5 minutes as advertised? Sure, if I had a NASCAR pit crew working with me. Having said that, it was not difficult and I am VERY impressed with the quality of the unit. It came out looking fantastic (especially the white metal anodized painted parts). I kept thinking...wow, this is fitting together REALLY nicely. Once it was assembled I had a few observations: 1. The top I chose was grey...except it's not really grey. I would call it more of a very neutral light brown. Very Very neutral. Don't get me wrong, it is very nice especially with the white legs, but grey...? Not really. 2. Quiet! Holy Molly is this thing quite when it goes up and down. 3. Memory! The standing and sitting memory buttons are gold. Love them. 4. TALLLLLLL! I am 6'3" and this thing goes higher than I even need. I would say this would easily satisfy someone 6'5" in the standing positions. 5. The Basket.....wow this stupid little under the desk hidden basket is fantastic. I put my power strip in it and now the back of my desk is clean clean clean. One cord going in. Love it. 6. Design.....sweet. The box said made in Vietnam but I could care less. It is VERY well designed. Time will tell on the motor and over all longevity, but so far for $225 bucks I am VERY impressed. At the end of the day I could not be happier. I hope this desk lasts forever and contributes to my over all good health. ****UPDATE REVIEW****. Well I have had this desk a year now and I am buying one for my 22 year old and one for my 29 year old. The desk is fantastic. Dunno, for the price it is just a GAME CHANGER. I remember when the first standing desks came out and were like $1500. Complete rip off. I don't care who makes this guy, the quality is excellent and the price....a few hundred bucks???? I mean, just great.

I bought this desk for $175 I believe (they had an $50 off offer at the time of purchase) after I bought a $100 standing desk that had the split in the middle of the desk and had two piece join together. Huge mistake on my part for buying it, I felt that line every time using my mouse over it, was terrible. So I returned it and bought this one - it’s MDF board underneath a terrific bamboo-style top, like all of them, so ok there’s that. But the most important is that it’s a solid piece of MDF and not split in two. On top of that it comes preassembled with the main bracket, and motor already attached. The legs went on with ease. The way they designed the legs was pretty genius! Super quiet motor - which you don’t have to put a rod into: the rod is already mounted, which on cheaper desks you have to do yourself! And once this rod failed on my wife’s desk and it smash a monitor we had on it - I’d advise against buying one of those types which seem to come on all of the $100 or so desks. the buttons are super easy to use: one press and it goes right into the setting you set it at. The positioning of the buttons is on the right side which I prefer as well. The only thing that I prefer from the previous desk is the hooks for headphones, etc - the ones that this one comes with are just bent slim pieces of metal, and because it’s mdf board, the screws are not able to fully press these brackets in place, so they move ever so slightly. If they had rubber bushings to squeeze into, perhaps that would do the trick. But in any case these hooks bend super easily as well which isn’t very nice. Lastly, I want to mention that this desk is solid for writing on - the previous $100 desk had a slight wobble in it when writing pen to paper, which also was terrible. This desk is planted, and does not move! I’m a fountain pen user and that for me is extremely important. I hope this all makes sense and came across the way I intended it to! The hooks are really the only qualm I have but other than that, terrific desk!! I would highly recommend, and I never write reviews on Amazon, but felt compelled to as I just love this desk!

4 stars for this standup desk. Likes: 1) Very sturdy at standing height. This was one of the most important attributes when choosing a desk. For the price, I'd say this is 5 stars. Flexispot seemed to have very good reviews in this category so I chose them. 2) Also, the sound is quiet enough and the movement is as quick as I'd expect. 3) Ease of installation. I'd give the installation aspect 4 stars as even though the installation was quick and easy (I did it by myself), the side hangers/brackets do not have pre-drilled holes. There are definitely other unused, pre-drilled holes, but I ended up having to drill these myself. Dislikes: 1) The desktop surface arrived scratched. Not deep scratches but scratched nonetheless. I put a towel down between the desktop and my carpet to prevent any additional scratches from occurring. Not returning this item as the scratches aren't deep enough for the hassel; plus I have enough on the desktop where they really aren't noticeable. 2) The base and the top arrive separately. This is not a big deal and not even a dislike, but just letting anyone purchasing this know so you don't panic. I thought I read this during checkout, but then couldn't find it. I had to reach out to the seller to confirm this as well as asking for a routing number. Received a quick response from the seller on this - so no issue. For the price, I'd definitely recommend this. Less than $200 for 48" x 30". I can't imagine how much nice a $800 desk would need to be for me to recommend the more expensive desk over this. I purchased a monitor arm and other accessories from different sellers.

im about to start school and this is my second standing desk and let me just say, there is NO wobble with this desk and im an aggressive typer and the space. omg I love the amount of space I have to do what I need. then you would think the fact that u have to screw in 4 different boards, you would have gaps. no, there are no gaps between the 4 planks of wood. I was gonna get a big mouse pad to cover the bumps, the bumps dont exist. also, its strong, I have 3 monitors, 2 laptops, a docking station, speakers, all my phones, notebooks, a fan, a polaroid camera, a light, and a huge bag of peanuts on my desk and I can still put more on here comfortably before I feel "cluttered" and this is coming from a near freak. when it comes to assembly, I did it by myself in about 30 minutes. I will say I like to build and work with my hands so my "easy" might be someone else's nightmare

I would pass on this, The desk top itself is 4 separate parts connected with wooden dowels and think metal plates holding each piece to the other with two plates per piece and 4 screw per plate., the desk self doesn't seem stable. but just remember the bottom if this is going to have multiple metal plates to hit your legs against. The support is awful. Waste time. I contacted them within hours of receiving the table and reported one of the desktop edge pieces damaged and missing most of the wooden dowels and yet they wasted time. hours before asking for pictures of the manual. I provided the exact part number of the desk, the part numbers missing with descriptions. then they wait hours before asking for pictures of the problem. LIKE SERIOUS ITS MISSING PARTS DO THEY WANT PICTURES THE EMPTY BAG?
