Great! Using it to isolate an incandescent bulb from LED battery backup bulbs for correct operation

These work great! Easy to use. Remote control works very well. I'm using these to isolate an incandescent flood light from LED (with battery backup) bulbs which are in the same hard-wired light switch circuit. So when I turn off my main hard-wired light switch, this electronic gadget automatically opens the circuit to the incandescent, and so the LED (battery backup) bulbs don't get tricked into going into backup mode and lighting up. And then when I flip on my (main hard-wired) light switch, the wireless socket automatically remembers the previous power state it was in. If it was on, it comes on again. If it was off, it stays off. I'm using the second wireless bulb socket it to control a bright "daylight" bulb independently of the others, at night time I turn that one off separately, and during the day it's on. ... show more

Worked right out of the box. Super easy wall mount if that's what you need but the remote also works great off the mount. The remote has an extra switch in case you want to install a third bulb. I love that you can turn each light on/off separately or all together. Very pleased with this purchase and intend to buy a few more for use and for later in case they go out of stock.
