However I ordered the purple & it is totally different - I could barely get it on the remote , very tight fit , the length looks shorter than the black cover , volume buttons partially blocked & the material feels different like it is a bit harder - I am returning for a refund ... show more

I bought this because we just started using a Roku TV, in our bedroom. So at night, if we aren't asleep yet or wake up to the screensaver on, we go to grab the remote and it's hard to find in the dark! This cover really does help. I think many reviewers don't think it works but you really just have to set it under a light for a while to "charge" it. The same as many other "glow in the dark" items, that's basically how it works. Otherwise, for the price and the pretty perfect fit, it's definitely worth it. Photo is of the remote under a blanket. The silicone is a nice color but it really doesn't fit to the remote for Roku exactly the way it should. The volume buttons on this side can be pressed accidentally quite easily. Also the glow in the dark feature is absolutely useless because it takes about a half hour of being exposed to bright sunlight before you can get to even see it in a darkened room. ... show more

Simply put: this small, slippery remote virtually REQUIRES a cover. This seems to be a good one. It feels great in your hand, and is easier to find among blankets. I followed suit with my other remotes (DVR, Smart TV). I appreciate the open-face design, which lets the buttons continue to stand off from the body of the remote (my TV remote covers ever non-button surface, so the buttons are flush with the cover).
