My daughter has long, thick, wavy hair. This straightener was great for her hair. I was able to go over each section of hair once and it was straight and frizz free. The wider panel also made the amount of sections I had to do less; so time spent straightening was much less. Did not go up to full temperature. Sides still got warm, but not scorching hot. First of all, this is a pretty straightener. I love the rose gold! The temp control buttons are easy to get to and I like that you can hear the click each time you go higher or lower and it visually displays how hot it is. I used this product on one half of my hair and used the Conair Infini pro on the other half and I felt like this one left my hair with a slight poofiness, whereas the other one had my hair completely straight.
