    • Too heavy
Seems like a nice dryer but it's way too heavy. It only takes me 10 minutes to dry my hair and it got pretty uncomfortable. Also not crazy about the diffuser. Too small and too much air flow gets through so it blows my hair around which makes my curls frizzy. On the up side it's pretty, dries quickly and plenty of options with the controls. I've been looking for a new dryer forever and was so hoping this one was it but unfortunately it's not. Besides that it was shipped in the display box it came in from the manufacturer rather than being packed into a shipping box so it got banged around pretty badly and some of the plastic tray that holds it inside was broken. The box was sealed with just two tiny pieces of tape so huge gaps all around the box and when it got left on the front step in the rain it got wet. I would actually return for that reason alone because who knows what damage the dryer has sustained with the poor packing. I'm pretty disappointed all around. Returning. ... show more

    • Not hot enough, otherwise fine
This is a very pretty, well made blow dryer. But it doesn’t gets the job done. The problem this hairdryer has is that the air does not quite get hot enough. At this price point, this blow dryer should be salon quality. And maybe it's designed for people who want to style their hair very slowly at low temperature. But because this one can’t be cranked up to be hot enough for more utilitarian uses, it fails to deliver. And let’s be honest: the central element to any blow dryer is the ability to dry hair. This one leaves mine kind of frizzy. If it got hotter, this wouldn’t be an issue. So ultimately it’s serviceable but disappointing. Otherwise, it’s nice. The attachments are great; all three of them, including the one to help straighten and the diffuser. They fit nicely and work well. It is lightweight and easy to use.     • Way too heavy
It looks nice, it’s really strong but it is way too heavy. I held this dryer for 5 minutes at most and my arm and hands started cramping. I would have to hold this at least 15 minutes to do my hair. There is 0 way I could. Really disappointed that it was so heavy.

    • Heavy and for certain hair types
I like the color and look at this blow dryer however, it’s very heavy and for my curly hair even the lowest speed was too high so instead of grabbing the curls with the diffuser to create curls it just blew them all over the place and created a frizzy mess unfortunately, returning

So disappointed with this not inexpensive hair dryer. Even on the lowest speed setting it blows too hard & fast! Because of this, my curls blow around too much and look awful & frizzy. I love how lightweight it is and the size of the dryer and the diffuser. Just so disappointed in drying speed. I never use it. ... show more

I am picky about my hairdryers. I like alot of air flow. I have a lot of fine hair so I like that it has a good air flow with out getting super hot.The wet sensor does work but I don’t use it much. It is a little heavy but I kinda like that. At least it feels like you are holding onto something. The concentration nozzles are great, the diffuser not as much. But I don’t use it that often so it’s not a big deal. ... show more

Remington PROLUXE HydraCare Dryer. I was initially confused by the description, “release[s] micro-conditioners onto hair to help preserve moisture balance”, I thought the dryer sprayed out conditioner or hair serum while drying to condition the hair. But I figured out from the instruction manual, there is no conditioner sprayed out. When the HydraCare options is selected on the dryer, the HydraCare Sensor technology auto regulates and adjusts the blown out heat temperature so that your hair doesn’t get over heated, over-dried or heat damaged while drying and styling. This dryer is powerful! It blows out dense large volume of heated air! The dryer actually doesn’t dry out my hair! My hair tends to get brittle with dryer and curling iron use but I can tell that this dryer dries with a good mix of powerful forced hair and minimal heat. It dries my hair quickly! Per the description, the dryer has a “powerful digital motor for ultra fast drying” up to 80 mph. The dryer is on the compact side but heavier side probably due to the powerful motor weight. But b/c it dries quickly, I don’t find myself holding it long so the weight doesn’t bother me so much. It feels and functions like a premium professional dryer! It has a cool and 2 heat levels and 2 motor speeds. I like the pearl/white/grey color combo and simple modern design of the dryer. The dryer adds volume to my hair w/o frizziness and my hair retains shine! It has a long cord for easier maneuvering. It comes beautifully packaged in a large box with additional accessories for styling- diffuser, slim concentrator and styling concentrator.     • Nice yet Heavy
Beautiful hair dryer that gets the job done of drying your hair quicker but like others have stated it is a bit on the heavy side which makes holding it very uncomfortable especially if you have long hair. This is defiantly not one you can just pack and go!
