I've ordered this in the past few years and it was awesome- worked and did the job well. Recently ordered it and it felt more like a kids toy than anything. Did NOTHING - held it upto my beard and it did nothing!!

Works great! My dog always fought when he heard the clippers, getting this helped sooo much. It is quiet and gentle enough that he doesnt notice. I wished it was a little sharper, but it does the job well and quickly. The ability to adjust the blade speed and depth without using the attachments was well worth it. Make sure you look at the Buyer and it's actually a Remington. I bought one that said "Remington" but it was just a stamp. I charged it and it lasted maybe one minute. THIS ONE is LEGIT I have been a Remington believer/purchaser for years so I DO KNOW their product. Note: The Hair will Pull if your battery is low and that will also tell you it's NOT a Legit Remington trimmer/clipper. Open Box Carefully Incase you need to return it!! ... show more

So I bought this to replace the older version of the same thing that lasted many years before the battery finally just wouldn't charge. Definitely got my money's worth out of that one, but this new one doesn't seem to be as good a quality. Not only is it lighter weight but doesn't seem to have the power or the blade move as fast as the old one did. Also battery doesn't last as long before having to be recharged.
