  • Yes, without hesitation, yes!!!
Color: Java
Best $200 ever spent! I bought this chair to use while I am recovering from surgery, so thankful I did -- it is perfect for me. Yes, there are a few semi-cons, (I will list them first) but absolutely none that would make me regret this purchase. Semi-cos: (1) I only have the use of one hand right now so getting the foot rest back into the down/closed position is a bit tricky but not so difficult it can't be done. (2) I'm tall, 5'10" and all legs, I wish the extended length was a bit longer so my feet, when reclining mid range, would not exceed the foot rest. (3) The headrest, if just a tad bit higher, would be even more amazing. That's it, three very small cons that can be managed with body adjustments. The pros: (1) The chair came in one box, with 4 pieces. Each piece was enclosed in a dust bag for protection from dust and grime and thus made it very easy to get out of the box. Assembling this chair could not have been easier. I did it myself in less than 5 minutes. No tools required. (2) The leather is Faux -- easy to wipe clean, has more of a real leather matte finish appearance than shiny vinyl. The color runs true to the picture. (3) Extremely comfortable with enough seat width (approx. 20", measured from inside the armrests) for added comfort. (4) The lever to recline is very easy to use and the chair transitions smoothly. It does not lock into position, so it easy to recline into different positions by adjusting your body. Some may not like feature, I do. (5) Price. I was hesitant to purchase this chair based on its low price, thinking it was going to be of poor quality and craftsmanship. It had only 17 reviews, but a 5 star rating, so I put my trust into those who reviewed it. A huge Thanks to all of you!! This chair is more amazing than low price and that alone speaks volumes!! 6) Not only would I recommend this to a friend, I would buy it for them too, it's that wonderful. ... show more

  • It's a decent basic chair. Kinda firm.
Color: Java
It is a large chair. And not super soft. I am 5ft4 and when I sit back in it my feet do not touch the floor! Not a fancy chair. Doesn't swivel or have power ports or heat & massage. For a decent price a good basic recliner. It's a bit stiff when you pull the lever it's on the right side. You just have to push on it pretty hard with your legs to close it. My husband's sure that it will loosen up..lol I got the Java. It's a very dark brown in a dim light it looks black. It's comfortable just not soft and squishy. Well time to go enjoy my new chair. Have a nice day! :) ... show more

  • great for the price great for the price
Color: Java
This is a nice looking and comfortable enough recliner for the price. I just got it and put it together in less than 10 mins. I was able to put this recliner together by myself. It was not hard at all. Use the floor as your leverage, especially for the two pieces that look like “extra armrest”. It comes in 2 big pieces and then 2 pieces for the back of the chair. I’ve seen someone say they are “extra armrest”. Lmao. They are NOT! It’s for the back of the chair and once you take it out of the box completely it’s self explanatory where they go. I would definitely buy this item again. ... show more

  • Cannot be closed once opened and not very comfortable
I bought this to replace the ancient Salvation Army recliner (purchased for $50!) I have been sleeping in since 2015. I bought the used recliner after my husband was hit head on by a drunk and I needed to sleep next to his hospital bed for nearly a year after he came home. He was up and walking just fine right when my 97 year old mother moved in, so I still slept in the recliner just outside her room. The used recliner (no name, sadly) held up like a champ until a few months ago when the lever stopped working and one of the arms started to fall off. I spent a HUGE amount of time researching/trying out recliners locally and found NOTHING which was even remotely comfy to sleep in. I'm not a small woman and I have a VERY long torso, but these recliners seemed to be designed for REALLY tall men. When reclined, I could not even reach the arm rests! So...I found this online and most people complained that this was "too small" and "not comfy" for a "large person". I thought it sounded perfect. Well, It's still WAY too long in the torso for me, and when fully reclined, it's difficult to reach the armrests. That said, I have added pillows to both sides, a small round tube pillow for my lower back, and a larger pillow for under my knees and calves, and I can sleep on it. Sadly, I wake up every two hours and have to walk around and stretch to get back to sleep for another two hours. There is very little padding in the seat and leg rests, so I added a 3" tempurpedic topper cut down to fit the chair. It makes it bearable to sit in it and sleep for a few hours. What is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE is that even when my husband (not a small guy) stands behind the recliner and holds it, it is IMPOSSIBLE to close the damned thing. The recliner has sat in the fully "up" position since the first day. I tried lying it down on its back on the floor and pounding on it and it still will not close. Bottom line: This is garbage. The only reason I can't send it back is that I have nowhere else to sleep. I have made this barely acceptable because I just can't wait days or weeks to find a replacement. I need a place to sleep. DO NOT BUY THIS! ... show more

  • Excellent budget chair for compressed nerve issues. FIRM support AND comfy!
Color: Beige
The chair arrived one day early and packaged well. I unboxed and assembled it in 10 mins tops. The color is true creamy light beige as pictured. The dimensions are accurate. I bought this for one corner of my hobby room. I can confirm that this is a wall hugger (so happy) and I have it about 4" off of the wall. I strongly encourage the seller to list this very important "key selling" feature for future buyers. I have spinal issues and pinched nerves with nerve pain throughout my legs and feet. I have spent thousands on furniture only to be in more pain due to lack of support. Now that I know what "I" need, I searched reviews on 2 separate recliners that was reported to be "too firm" or "extra firm", this budget chair for my room and a higher quality chair for the living room. I've read reviews that mention that it needs more padding on the leg rest, but many recliners don't have any padding under the leg/knee area, just a gap with metal, this one has something so that's even better. I typically don't give reviews but I realized in shopping for this recliner how very important "real" reviews are and I hope my comments are helpful to someone. I was going to give it 4 stars because the side panels sound hollow and cheap when you tap them but it doesn't seem to have any affect on the comfort or function of this chair, so 5 stars it gets and an extra star for it being a wall hugger. It's a $200 chair, but it is good for my needs! I will update my review if anything changes. I am also happy with my other recliner and my hubbs got one for himself as well! You can check my profile for a review on the other chair if you are curious and looking for firm support in a recliner. ... show more

  • Very nice chair! Great value for your money. The seat is very, very firm! Very nice chair! Great value for your money. The seat is very, very firm!
Color: Beige
The assembly was very easy! The chair came with two pieces the back of the chair, and the bottom of the chair. They have metal tracks to slide them into and I slid them into a track by myself. The armrest also came separate and they were slid into a track. The chair is very lightweight (will tilt over!) but it is a nice size. I'm 5'7 and can stretch my feet all the way out to the end. If you're taller than that your feet may go over it. But when it's relaxed all the way back I find it to be very comfortable in that position. The cost was great I paid $220 for it. The thing I dislike most about it was the seat!!! The seat is so hard it is not memory foam. If it is it's really, really firm! I've had it a little over a month and it doesn't seem to be getting soft at all. I had to buy a pillow and put it in the seat to sit in it. That makes it work so much better. I took two pictures. The second picture has an ottoman on top of it and this is a really old Ottoman. And it is very heavy. And as you can see the seat has not given in it all. Other than that I really like the chair. I just wish to seat wasn't so firm! ... show more

  • Nice chair for the price
Color: Beige
I was skeptical ordering this as some reviews were mixed but I was pleasantly surprised! Was very easy to put together although it’s best to have someone help just to hold the cushions back to slide the wings in place. Got this for my husband who is 6’1 and he fits comfortably, can even nap in it. I also like that you can recline it when against the wall without hitting the wall. Might not hold up so great to my 4 kids but I’m hopeful. ... show more

  • good value for the price
Color: Black
I'm 5'10" and ~200lb and it's the perfect size; plenty of room to shift around. The recliner works pretty well. I don't have too much trouble finding the right spot in its extension to suit my whims and no trouble staying there once I find it. I do have two complaints, although they are minor and not terribly surprising at this price point. The first is the lack of lumbar support; there's really none whatsoever. Honestly I'm not sure if any chair of this type even has a significant amount of lumbar support, but it would have been nice. The other issue I have is the armrests. They're just cushions. For now, they're pretty comfortable, but I would have preferred something a little sturdier and the one spot where my elbow rests most often is already starting to lose its "fluff," if you will. I imagine it's only going to keep degrading from there (I believe I've had it 40-60 days, but I don't remember exactly). Overall, it's a great value for the price. The construction seems solid and it's very comfortable. I only fear for its longevity. If there are ever any reviews for the merax pu leather recliner, maybe check that one out before you pull the trigger on this one. I opted for this chair on the basis of the merax having no reviews when I bought it. ... show more
