  • A must have for mobility
Lifesaver! I’m non-weight bearing on my right foot for four weeks. All it took was one day post surgery trying to use a walker while trying to hold up the leg to send me clicking through Amazon to find a solution. A slightly cheaper version involved some complicated-looking strapping. This securely but simply attaches to the frame. Although the weight of the device is a bit hefty, it is manageable and very sturdy. Assembly is easy - just two bolts. Using this knee sling has made a world of difference. I can walk without worrying about banging my foot and because I am able to carry my weight on my knee I can safely and comfortably stand in place to cook or do dishes. The only con is that I needed to add a bit more padding than what it comes with, but it’s an easy fix. I highly recommend this for secure and safe mobility. ... show more

  • Better balance for no weight on foot
Worked very well after bunion surgery with no weight bearing on my foot. A good alternative over crutches or scooter if you have balance problems

  • Had high hopes but didn’t meet my need - might work for others
This item might be five star for some customers. I was looking for a knee scooter alternative because I have knee replacements and the scooters are painful even with an extra cushion. I have to return this item mainly because it isn’t height adjustable. It was too high for me and I couldn’t find the right position even lowering the walker legs or hanging the brace on a lower walker bar. I didn’t want to drill holes & redesign the bracket. I put a Top Glides knee scooter cushion inside the knee cup and if height wasn’t an issue, I could have used it to walk straight across the room with less knee stress than the scooter. However as others have stated this item is very heavy. 6 pounds feels much heavier on the walker than lifting a 6 pound box. Plus you’re lifting some of your leg weight. I primarily wanted it for maneuvering in a small bathroom that will require tight turns and stepping over a threshold. It was just too unbalanced for me when turning. The knee cup is very sturdy and I feel confident it would support the knee weight for a long time. The braces that are weaved inside and outside the walker are very heavy steel. However, the top u-shaped bracket that hangs over the walker is much lighter. I can see why/where it would sheer off as some users experienced. Two prongs of the U go into the top of the bracket and exit the bottom. Bolts are screwed onto the U ends. One side was fine, but the other was hard to insert in the bracket and the bolt had trouble. I think the threads weren’t machined right. All that while trying to support the 6 pounds of weight and keep the item correctly positioned. It was more difficult to install than it should have been - older seniors might find it difficult. A redesign to be lighter, height adjustable and add memory foam padding could result in a great product. ... show more

  • Game changer
*update* I downgraded to 4 stars because this is still a great piece of equipment but the black material that wraps over cushion is already tearing/wearing away and I barely rub against it. I've only had it since this past Wednesday and today is Saturday (4 days) for the cost of this, I'd expect better thicker material. Trying to figure out what to now use to wrap it in so my knee isn't rubbing against the inner cushion itself. Game changer. I recently got injured and have a lisfranc foot fracture. I cant put any weight on my right foot and need a walker to get around. This was recommended to me by a pt professional. It gives me so much relief. It does make the walker heavy however on the side I use it on. It's not meant for all your weight though. More like to rest your bad knee for a min as walking gets exhausting when non weight bearing on on side. ... show more

  • Great product for people using a walker who cannot put weight on one leg
This is a great product for anyone using a walker who cannot put their weight on one leg. My son broke his right leg in an auto accident. He was restricted from putting weight on that leg for four months. This product allowed him to move around without having to hold his leg up continuously. It was easy to install and very durable. ... show more

  • Kneeler broke while using
Product was fine when I got it. Pt therapist put it on the walker for us at rehab. A few weeks later the nut fell off one of the holding bars. Then again. This morning heard a snap, looked down the nut sheared off with part of the bolt. No impressed.

  • So handy to have when you’re not ready for a knee scooter
This was so handy to have after my foot surgery. My knee scooter didn’t work inside my house as well as the walker with this attached. Even the therapy department took a picture of it!
