This purchase exceeded my expectations. Buttons, joy sticks, and case were of good quality for the price. Game board was in excellent condition. The 40S model has a more powerful and efficient CPU chip that doesn't need a fan for cooling; so it is absolutely silent. I have not noticed any game-play slowing or screen tearing (even in the 3D games); so the new CPU is powerful enough to handle the installed games. There were 26,800 games installed rather than the 20,000 advertised. There is a TF card slot accessible on the back panel. Most all games looked great on my large 4K screen tv. The only thing I wish they would improve is the process of flagging favorites. The current process has you scroll through a list of 26,800 games (names only) with no previews or indication of which game system they were from. Some popular games may have been released on ten different consoles; obviously I only want to flag the best version as a favorite. The maximum number you can flag is 100. Other than that, I'm having a blast. This game system will keep our nephews occupied and out of trouble during our upcoming Christmas party; lol.

After searching the RegiisJoy website explains the item (and at a cheaper price) and I had to find a pdf with the games I was looking for. It does have a lot of doubles and some games are labeled different than the preview display shows. Am not sure if it's a search error. But there are way to many classic old and retro games from one's childhood. NES, SEGA, SNES, N64, SNK, But I find myself wanting to just move on with today's awesome games and graphics. It's nice playing fighting games, but I was never good at them. I wanted more arcade games, because I never had $80 of quarters t play Metal Slug or Killer Instinct. The split is better in my opinion because if one person plays then you don't have this massive thing on your table or lap. Using PS3 controllers works fine also. The power cord is shorter than it should be. The under button light display is annoying at night. I will see what's on the SD card and hopefully delete the doubles or add more MAME type roms. But will see.

I like the arcade, but I was expecting like the whole super Nintendo library but that didn't happen. It has a ton of games, majority of them are Japanese MAME arcade version games. It has multiples of the same game, but one could be from the US, the other could be the Japan version or UK version. As of right now, I'm not totally satisfied with the library of 20k games. The function of the machine is basically perfect though. I do recommend the machine if you are looking for one but, like I said. I'm not impressed with the library. If I somehow find the games I am seeking, i.e. donkey Kong 1 2 3 from snes or American gladiators snes. Or literally any of the Mario games, I'll raise my review. But I have searched and, they aren't on there.

I wasn't using this very often so I let my brother take it to his place because he and his friends love video games, granted they prefer computer games but they were all obsessed with this. If you want a walk down memory lane this is enough to keep any video game lover from the 80s and 90s occupied for hours on end.
