There is no question about the quality and convenience of this shade. It is simple to install and basically "just works! However, depending on the size and details of the door you may have some uncertainty about whether or not it will fit. The dimensions given (25 x 84) are not sufficient to determine whether it will work for you. Typically, these metal doors will have a sort of molding around the glass window, so depending on the door size, the window size and the molding size, this shade may or may not fit. In our case, for example, the dimension of the outer width of the molding is 24", and the height is 84". However, as the photos show, the maximum width that the shade can accommodate is only 22 3/8". This means that in our case, the magnetic brackets on the top must be installed ABOVE the molding, rather than beside it. This is no problem IF the shade is long enough to accommodate the magnetic bracket's height plus the outside of the window plus molding, but given that the length is stated to be 84" and our window plus molding is 84", it was not obvious that it will work. (Note that the bottom bracket is narrower but it must also fit BELOW the bottom molding, requiring about 1/2".) So, for us, the shade needs to be about 86-87" long in order to be installed on our door. The good news is that despite the height dimension being given as 84", it IS longer and does fit our door with the magnetic brackets above and below the molding. (Interestingly, I contacted the vendor to inquire about this issue and they didn't give a relevant answer, responding instead that the longest shade they make is only 48". Clearly something lost in translation.) Bottom line is that these shades fit perfectly on our 3 new 8/0-3/0 steel doors on my workshop. ... show more

Easy to place! And quick set up! Very impressed with this product! I was a bit hesitant before purchasing because I did not know it the magnets would be strong enough. Come to find out, the magnets are strong!!!!!! These will not fall off. Do not hesitate if you are looking for French door blinds. I checked with a magnet before buying to be sure the doors are in fact metal. The quality of these blinds are very upscale! Size is perfect! And opens from top and bottom! ... show more

These blinds are GREAT! The top magnet clips are super strong. Misaligned it and had to get my son to help remove it. The bottom magnet clips are not as strong and could stand to be a little stronger, but we won’t be opening the blinds, so doesn’t matter to us.
