These are well made scissors, but I didn't like the design for grooming my eyebrows. They are perfectly straight, thick, and a bit too long, so it was hard to have the right amount of control for trimming and shaping brows. I prefer a design where the end of the scisscors is curved a bit, and the tip of the blade is thinner so you can really clip hairs close to the skin. These are well made though, but I think the design would be more suitable for trimming mustaches/beards. ... show more

The scissors are good quality, sharp and strong. They are a bit tight to open and close. The ends are pointy but the blade does not taper completely to the point at the ends. The brush is like a mascara brush, but it is much thicker and the bristles are longer. The bristles are qutie stiff. Scissors were made in Italy, the brush was made in China ... show more

I find eyebrow scissors to be so versatile. I trim my brows, clip threads when I'm sewing, or even trim my nail stickers down prior to application. I quite liked Refine's eyebrow grooming kit. The Italian scissors are very sharp and have a thin profile, which makes it easy to get that one errant hair. Unlike other eyebrow scissors, they do not have an extra curve to them. (I like this shape better.) I like that they are made of stainless steel, so should be able to handle a steamy bathroom. As for the Chinese spoolie, it's easy to grip and does a good job of smoothing down my brows. These are nice tools at a reasonable price. ... show more

This grooming set includes a spoolie for brushing the eyebrow hair up and and a pair of petite scissors for trimming the hair. The scissors are sharp and are tiny to allow for precision when reigning in wild brows. They cut well and were comfortable to hold. The head of the spoolie is a little bit bendable (not sure whether that was intentional or not). They work well together to help keep my brows looking clean and tidy. ... show more

It's hard to buy facial accessories online since you can;'t tell the quality until you actually receive them. REFINE is a trusted brand and the accessories under them, solidly made. These eyebrow scissors are stainless steel and sharp. Makes grooming a pleasure.

    • They are decent solutions
The eyebrow scissors are pretty tough on the draw back while your using them, but you can just add a bit of lubrication to them to help them out. A little resistance can be good at some points, though if you have arthritic fingers it might not help you that much. The wooden handle brow brush seems to be well built and very light. You do get mobile movement in the brush itself, did notice a little bit of a pop while using this, not sure where it came from, maybe where the wire connects to the wooden handle itself. Overall not a bad kit, nothing that is not redeemable for sure. ... show more
