This is the other Spigen case I got. It’s pretty darn durable, but still not much to grip on these things. Spigen has to realize that consumers that actually like phone cases like myself are looking for certain things. 1. Customization 2. GRIP 3. Thin as it can get before hurting the protection value. I would debate a 4th which is Cool Factor. Aka what sets your case apart from the Chinese ones I can get on Ali Express. Spigen has a big problem with #4. This case is fine, nothing wrong with it but the color options were meh. Sort of thin armor but still a little bulky, no great grip. The case feels great and looks awesome. I put it on my phone and took it off two minutes later to return. The hole on the back that shows off the Apple logo is completely unprotected. I assumed it would be like the Otterbox I have on my iPad and have a piece of clear plastic over the hole. I don’t want to take the chance of any dirt or anything scratching the Apple logo or getting behind the case and damaging the phone itself. Update: went from three to five stars. After using for a few days I don’t think my earlier concerns will be an issue. This case feels awesome in hand. I love that the power and volume buttons are flat. Most cases they are raised. Teal is my favorite color but dark purple is my second favorite color which is the reason why I picked the deep purple iPhone 14 Pro Max. It’s a very unique looking purple that changes color in the light. I love this case. I think it is a tad overpriced which is the reason why Im knocking off one star but it is a great case. I like it much better than otterbox because it’s affordable, it looks cool and it doesn’t heat up my iPhone. I do wish it were about $25 though instead of $31. I love how it shows off the apple logo and you can see the purple color. It’s also not overly bulky yet still protective. At least it’s not $50. I give this case an A- ... show more

I really like this case. I had one on my 6 plus and 11 pro max, so naturally I gravitated towards it for my 14 pro max. I love everything about it except for one thing: it will not allow my car’s built-in wireless charging pad to charge my phone. This was not a problem with my 11 pro max which also used Spigen Tough Armor. I believe that the added MagSafe/MagFit feature is interfering somehow, as my 11 pro max case was not a MagFit case and it allowed the charging pad to function properly and charge up my phone. Maybe it’s thicker. I’m trying out two other Spigen cases to see if the problem resolves. Again, this is a great case and will protect your phone well, but be aware that it may not be compatible with all built-in wireless car chargers. I paid extra for that feature in my car, and I’ll be darned if I have to plug a wire in to charge my phone in the car… ... show more
